Outside of Hagrid's Cabin

"Mine are, too."

Kelsi pulled out the last tooth and dropped it into the bowl, which seemed to have developed a thin, oily fluid at the bottom of the teeth. Kelsi didn't want to put her hand in the bowl, even though she had a mental image of doing so.

Libby pulled out the last tooth as well, and threw it in the bucket. "Gosh, I still can't believe we pulled teeth out of these THINGS for a class."

"I know! But they don't seem to be too bothered by it, for some reason."

Serenity came down the grounds, smiling, relatively-teeth free. She hadn't taken Care of Magical Creatures. "Hello, Kels, Lib! I've got a free period next, and I got out of History of Magic early- we were about to end class anyways- with a Nosebleed Nougat thing, so I came down to visit my favorite little naturalists!" She seemed extremely happy about something. "So what's up?"

Rachel also walked down the hill towards them to visit. "Hiya you three! Isn't this year the best so far!? I'm only taking like, four or five classes!"

"I know! It pays to flunk out of some. Besides, to be a lawyer you need none of these classes, so I chose the least boring ones. 'Cept History of Magic. Flitwick told me it was necessary. How's your morning been, Rachel?" Serenity sat on a large rock, avoiding the muddy ground. Her hair was all down, and she was chewing bubble gum. She also had on her uniform, with blue plaid pumps, and a few bracelets, and medium strength makeup.

Kelsi stared at them. "Well, then don't come down here to distract us, we've still got class."

"Great! I had Divination first period... it's such an easy class, and Professor says I have a knack for it... but, I dunno, Trewalrney (yes, I know.) kinda annoys me. Wish I had the other teacher again... what did you have first period?"

"Really? I thought she taught the younger years, and now that weirdo centaur taught the older classes. I had Transfiguration. But it's double the time, so I only have two classes in the morning."

"Oh, I see. Man, I wish I was that good at one subject in school like you are with Transfiguration. Then, maybe I could actually have hope for the future..."

"Didn't you just say you were good at Divination?"

"Yeah, but I'm not super good or anything at... like, I couldn't become a teacher or I'm not a Seer or whatever."

"Be a house-wife, or a mom. I might want to do that when I'm older."

[that sounds freakishly like my friend. the one that got pregnant. you know. o_o;]

"That's boring, I want to at least have a somewhat decent job! And, I don't want any kids."

"Oh, okay, then, I don't know. Just stop worrying, okay?" The bell ran distantly from the castle. "YES! Okay, great, another outdoors class. Herbology. Do we have that one together, Rachel?"

"Oh, yeah, I do! That'll be fun..."

Especially since it's with Nick... not that SHE knows. Ahahaha!"

"Awesome! Hey, let's go, then. You go along, I'm just going to get my bag set."


Hagrid told them that there was no homework, and began setting everything up for the next class.


Kelsi waved at Libby and told her to meet her by the Great Hall at break, and dashed off.

And here was Kelsi, sighing boredly while dissecting a leechmoth's foot in diamater nest. It was disgusting, but at least she got to see the tiny little leechmoths. Which were disgusting. So technically it wasn't the best class ever. But Hagrid seemed happy, he seemed happy, so she may as well try and be happy for a good grade.

By the time the nest was completely dissected, and the extra bits were thrown away, the new worm-like leechmoths were twitching around in the sunlight. Kelsi had to scoop them into a pale of water, and set them aside.

Hagrid then said the homework- "Read pages 256-261, then do the questions on page 262. You can start on them if your area is clean and you're finished!" He said, as he took the pales to the shade behind his house.

Kelsi opened her textbook, and began reading the entries.
