The Hospital Wing

"Yeah, but your friend Kelsi is a Muggle-born, and she's really good at all the magic and stuff." Nicolas stood up. "Guess it really just depends, eh? ._."

"Yeah, you're right. But we're all good at some things I guess." Rachel stood up as well. "What's it like living with muggles?" she asked.

Nicolas mumbled something about loud noises, and woke up. Deep lights from the sunlight were streaming onto the table-side by his bed, and dust was spinning around in the rays. His eyes flickered open, and he groaned.
"What..." he said in a drowsy voice, and looked to his side, spotting Rachel. And Lavender. His hair slid down his forehead and hid his eyes, but he pulled it back lazily, making it stick a bit like spikes. Blinking once or twice, his sleep faded away.
"Man... what happened?" he mumbled, then remembered the Herbology room.
"Aww, shoot! I passed out again, didn't I?" he says angrily, and pulls himself out of the bed. The bed-spread slipped off his shoulders, and he slid his feet out, and slipped them into his shoes by the bed.
Pulling himself up, he blocked the sun-rays, which formed some sillhoette behind him. Nicolas smiled, and extended a hand for Rachel.
"I guess I got revenge for killing a mouse, eh? Sorry for bringing you into it." He grinned, and revealed his uneven teeth. ^^

[[O SHOOT HE ALREADY WAS AWAKE. UGH. ><!!!]]

Nicolas shrugged, and his grin widened.
"I dunno, it's quite normal, if you know normal in my way. I mean, I had many friends where we would do that helium thing, it's quite a habit..." his voice drifted off, and his eyes gazed at a wall past Rachel for a moment, before them turning their attention to her again. His eyes gazed intently on her, and he flopped down on his bed.
"So, break. Well..." he said in some different voice, still gazing at her in some mysterious way. Then, it just became humour and whatever. The usual expression he has on his face.
"Let's go visit the mouse grave! Or I dunno, what do you do at break?"

"Oh. Well, I don't really do much. Most of the time I hang out with friends, but other times I go back to the Ravenclaw tower." She switched the conversation back to muggle-related life. "Did you ever go to a muggle school?"

Nicolas laughed.
"Obviously," he said cheerfully.
"But, most of the subjects were really boring. But I was considered a nerd. So yeah." he said, and turned his head to a side, hair falling over his eyes again. He reflexedly swung his hair back over with a sharp twist of his head.
"Like, we really can live without magic, just it's a bit harder. But at least it builds character, right?" Nicolas says this time, a bit louder and with more of a bounce in his voice.

"Oh, you must be really smart then. I'm pretty average, especially for a student for Ravenclaw." Rachel sighed and slumped back onto the bed. "I've never been to a muggle school before... but, were you really surprised when you got the letter from Hogwarts?"

"I'll show you my reaction." Nicolas said. He pretended to hold a letter in his hands, and his emotion went from normal I-got-a-letter to OMG-WTF-BBQ?!. His mouth opened wide, as well as his dark brown eyes. He then pretended to show said letter to his parents, one of which has a huge nose. He then flashed a crooked-toothed smile at Rachel. "Shocked, surprise, oh my gosh I'm a wizard stuff." He jerked his head so that his dirty-blond bangs flew out of his mysterious eyes. He crossed his arms, still smiling at Rachel. There was a gap between his two front teeth.

Rachel, grinned and laughed. "That must have been exciting if it was so unexpected. For me it was more like..." Rachel pretended she was holding and reading a letter. "Oh look, I'm a witch. Which I already knew about. I got accepted at Hogwarts. I already knew about that. Guess I'm going." Rachel stopped pretending she held a letter. "I guess if I was muggle-born it would be more exciting. I mean, it WAS, but you know."

"It wasn't so much of excitement as it was nervousness. You had the feeling it was all a hoax, a trick, something that those guys at school are doing - you get the idea. It seems more real when you're not Muggle-born, is what I'm saying," Nicolas said, still showing off that gap in his front teeth. "But it's real. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have met Max, I wouldn't have killed a mouse, I wouldn't have fainted in Herbology and I wouldn't be talking to you." The gap was still plainly clear, and a happy sparkle was in his eyes.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. It would really suck if all of this wasn't real. But that's impossible. You should come over to my house sometime also... it would be a lot of fun if you did."

[[... come over to my house ... be a lot of fun ... rachel, rachel, tsk-tsk-tsk. ur turn, kelsi.]]

Nicolas looked a bit taken aback.
"Oh- umm, sure! I guess, yeah, and our families could meet!" he said cheerfully.
"It would be alot of fun. Where do you live?" he asked, flashing that bright grin.

"Yeah, it would. Anyway, I live on this island place, I think it's off the coast of Britain. Anyway, I think it's an all magical community..."

"Oh and Nicolas?" Rachel began digging in her pocket for a minute, and pulled out a chocolate frog. "Do you wanna be my Valetine?" she asked rather shyly.

Nicolas' face turned bright red, and now he looked REALLY taken aback. His lips were slightly parted, and his face was a bit tilted, nose towards her hands, and eyes looking at her, no- staring at her-
"Really?" he said in some surprised voice.
"I-I- mean- Really?" he repeated, only in some much calmer voice,
"I- sure-" his bright red face turned purple-y, and his lips stretched into that one smile that makes you melt.
[[Ok, the rest is LAvender. I'm gonna stop, no matter how much I would wanna play him. XD]]

(Eh, you can still play him until Lav comes back. X3 I don't really care though rofl.)

Rachel grinned, blushing as well. She got up and smoothed out her clothes while saying "Do you wanna go down to breakfast now?" she asked him.

Nicolas nodded cheerfully. He flipped his hair back, and jumped up.
"Heh, Let's go." he said, and walked at some normal-but-fast pace out of the hospital wing with RAchel.
The hallway outside was sprayed with morning sun, which hit you guys- mostly Nicolas. It seemed to shine off him, AND HE WAS SO MELTINGLY SHOTA-LIKE XD

[[Valentines don't... you know, hold hands or anything?]]

And so, they walked together. <3

Holly and Luna walked in. "Here to see Fry." Holly said to Madame Pomfrey. The two went over to Fry's bed.

"Hiya, Fry!" Holly said. "Happy Valentine's Day! It sure sucks that you aren't up and moving, Antonio is getting mobbed by gnomes, it's hilarious. And you know something else? My sister, Lavender, her Valentine is Max. She even abandoned her food to go on a lovey-dovey walk with him, something I never thought would ever happen - and you get to be my petrified Valentine! :D"

"Those darned Crumple-Horned Snorcacks," Luna whispered. "I hope they don't petrify anybody else.

"Luna, I don't think Crumple-Horned Snorcacks are the cause of this," Holly said as her and Luna walked off. "Come on, seriously. Crumple-Horned Snorcacks?"

and the two left. X3

Kelsi reentered. And said hi to Fry.
"Happy Valentine's day, dude. It's getting annoying though. Rachel and Lav got what they wanted, Boris and Antonio are being mobbed by these crazy gnomes- Lockhart hired tons of gnomes to dress up as cubid. It's retarded. Very. And something else... Shoot, I forgot. Oh yeah, I got another detention with Snape. But, my transfiguration is going so good- I never knew I was good in it! And, have I told you I can change my eye color? It happened some time in Xmas break. But whatever. Right now they're this deep electric blue."

"And now they're green. ^^ I'll leave them green. Bye, Fry!"
