"Anyways, yeah. You have transfiguration, right?"

"Yeah."

"Did she assign you guys that ridiculously huge project?"

"Yeah... probably..."

"Oh my gosh..." Kelsi facepalmed.

"What?"

"You never listen in class, do you?" Kelsi asked with a giggle.

"Psh." Olivia rolled her eyes and looked down at the next landing. "No."

"At least you've got inheritance."

"I know, right."

"Right. Yeah, no inheritance for me..."

"Well, you're doing pretty well, right?"

"Way better than last year!"

"You'll be fine!"

"Awesome! What kind of pet would you want?"

"... That's not random at all. I don't really like animals."

"Oh... You'd never survive Year 6 Care of Magical Creatures... Just today we had to dissect a nest of this nasty bug slash animal."

"Exactly. Always hated that class."

"It's okay. I want a dog when I grow up."

"Oh, what kind?"

"A great big one! The hyper ones that run around the place and are so sweet to kids. And adults, of course. But, I just wish that they'd poo smaller. Unless I shrink the poo with my wand, until it's so small and I can just take it with a tissue and flush it down the toilet, and then it's no worry! So nevermind, I don't mind the poo. I just have to practice the shrinking charm, and the pronounciation, because Professor Flitwick said that you could mess up the words and suddenly get a strong particle attraction causing you to be smashed against solids around you.

Olivia stared at her.

"What?"

"... Fascinating." She looked back at the next landing.

"... Yeah, I'm just gonna go." Olivia got up, nodded to Kels, and ran down the stairs.
