5th Year Girls Dorm

Holly was laying on her bed, doing... nothing. She was just laying there, thinking about what had happened today.

Selia came in from the bathroom, hair in a ponytail, drying out from her shower, feeling fresh and clean, wearing a blue robe. She went over to Holly's bed, and sat down on the end, smiling. "Hey Hol! How was your evening with Fry?"

"Badly." Holly sat up, and pulled her legs up to her chest.

"Oh, Holly, what happened?!" Selia put her feet up on the bed. They were clean, after all.

"You'd laugh. I know you would."

"I wouldn't laugh when it's about you. I'm not mean."

"You'd laugh. Anyone would."

"Holly! I promise I won't laugh if you tell me."

"Alright. You know that weird Jake guy? The one who went banister-sliding?"

"I thought he was sort of cute! He bowed to me. But, yes."

"He... erm..." Holly tapped her index fingers together, then said, really fast, "Well, Fry and I were kissing, and he was watching, and he was like 'OH MY GOD THIS IS SO HOT' and then ran off, and Fry and I tried to kiss again after dinner hoping we'd get some privacy and he was watching again and he started yelling some more. It was so embarrassing!"

"Oh my God! That PRICK!" Selia still inwardly thought he was cute. "I bet he was jacking off!"

"Probably. He had this really funny-looking grin on his face."

"EEw! Oh, you poor girl."

"Can I have a hug?" Holly asked, stretching her arms out. "It's just--ugh! So embarrassing!"

"Of course." Selia hugged her. "Listen, I won't tease you and Fry anymore. I'm sorry."

"Thanks," Holly grinned, and released Selia. "For the hug and not teasing us anymore. It was kind of annoying." She laughed. "Have you got your eyes on any cute boys?"

"Well, as said, I thought that Jake was cute, but not so much." Lie. He was pretty flattering. "And, Antonio's a total prick.. Eric hasn't even hit puberty yet, and really, I don't know. I'd love to go out with someone, but I don't think I'm that great at the whole being sexy thing. Am I not pretty?"

"You did have Antonio for awhile," Holly pointed out.

"Yeah, until he got stolen by a redheaded slut I'm not going to talk about. I just... I don't know. I'm just not trying, I suppose. What do you think?"

"Well, if you want a boyfriend, look around. Find any decent guys, try to be friends with them, first. THEN ask them out once you're good friends."

"Yeah, I suppose. But look how that's already worked out! I think it would be good to try just a romantic relationship."

"Don't you have to know someone a little before randomly walking up and asking them on a date?"

"Yes.. But it took you about four years to graduate from friendship to going out? And isn't the purpose of a date to get to know someone?"
