The Ministry Of Magic-A Back Room

When everyone had sat down, a Death Eater came over and chained everyone's feet together, to prevent from any escaping. "Tell us when you're finished." he grunted.

Robin looked down at the chains, then horrified to Nicolas. "We're not animals!" she whispered. But then, she quickly looked down at her sheet. She took the quill and began filling it out.

Nicolas purposely went a bit slower on the questionnaire, so him and Robin could leave together. Of course, they would probably be separated, but it was best to think that if they finished at the same time, they'd go to the same place--right?

Robin ran the quill along the paper. She didn't know what to do. Should she reply the truth, and risk getting her sister caught, or just make everything up?"

"Hurry up!" yelled a Death Eater.

Robin wrote faster. She didn't want to cause trouble. She may as well do what they say. A horrible, quick thought ran through her head. It's like the holocaust all over again. She pushed the thought out of her head, and concentrated on finishing the survey. As long as she didn't have to go back in the room...

In a silent defeat, Laura neatly printed everything needed on the survey, thoughts of fear and death running through her head.

It had been a couple of weeks, and, luckily, Nicky and Robin hadn't been separated. But he was still quite scared that they would. Robin was the only person there that he knew, and he definitely couldn't endure the hellish conditions by himself. His hair was matted and dirty, as were his clothes, which he hadn't changed in a month or so. He had gotten used to the disgusting smell of all of the Muggle-borns, so he wasn't sure how bad he truly smelled. As usual, he was sitting over in a corner, with Robin.

A guard suddenly stepped in, to make an announcement. "Starting tomorrow, we're going to separate the men and the women." he said gruffly. "So, I want all of you creatures to be prepared for that." And he left.

[oh for god's sake it's not a concentration camp]

(WAIT LIV. DAMN IT.)

[YES. JUST WAIT.]

Nick turned to Robin, looking pale. "Robin, what are we going to do? Now we're getting separated." His voice got all high-pitched and crackly, like he was going through puberty again or about to cry.

[WHAT WOULD ROWLING DO]

Laura sat in a corner, softly crying. Thinking about all the times she had be quite an ass to everyone around her, and now she never will have thje chance to change that.

Robin turned slowly to Nicolas. "We're not going to get separated," she whispered. She stood up and brushed hernow greasy hair, and smiled. "Hmm... Your hair isn't too short." She took her shoes off and pulled her socks off. Then, she turned around. Men were hugging their women goodbye. Children were crying, and some people just sat silently as they did before. One particularly huge, fat man with a giant T-shirt was complaining about how hot it was- he had been doing so the whole summer. Robin walked over to him with her socks in her feet, and her feet barefoot. "Hey, you, if you're so hot, give me your shirt." she pointed defiantly at him. "Please, I need it for my friend, he's caught a cold from the heat in here, and his fever is going high..." She felt horrible lying like that, but he was hot anyways, so without a shirt won't help him. He gingerly gave her his shirt with a strange look and she pushed past people to Nicolas. "Okay, let's do this. Take your shirt off, and put this on top. Then once you have this on, take your pants off. The shirt should fall to your knees- it'll seem like a dress. Then, we'll use my belt as a high-waist belt, and use- umm-" She put everything on the floor and showed him her socks. "These socks as breasts. Nicolas, you're going to be cross-dressing for a while." Imagine how Rachel's going to feel. If she ever sees him.

"Hurry up," Grunted the Ministry worker.
