BREAKFAST cuz i said so

"Just ignore her, I guess..." he mumbled. "And Jake... dunno."

"You're awfully quiet. You okay?" She asked, smiling.

"Put the pieces together. I'm going back to the common room, I still have to get my bag ready." Fry stood up and left the Great Hall.

Selia frowned. "Alright, see you." Since Eric was MIA, and Fry obviously didn't want to talk, she went off to find Jake. Maybe he'd notice her hair, since Fry and Holly didn't. That was sort of vain, Selia. Stop it.

Karin then came back into the Great Hall, and leaned onto Antonio's shoulder again. "What are you talking about?" she asked.

"Remember that time when we were young? And we found that place in the forest?"

"Oooh yeah?"

"Hmmm... That was nice."

"We could go back!"

Antonio shook his head. "I'm not getting caught again."

"Aww. Goody-goody." she teased, twisting a lock of his black hair. "It'd be fun though!"

He raised his hand to her cheek. "No, no... Not this year,"

"We're purebloods," she said, with a hint of pride. "They'd go easy on us. Probably let us go in fact, if we got caught."

"I love having this advantage... But have you heard? Your sister had detention, and it really wasn't merciful."

Karin suddenly grew sour. "Yes, I've heard. It's been all over the place. I'd rather not talk about it though."

Antonio nodded sympathetically. "I understand that you wouldn't."

"You're lucky you have a respectable brother."

"Yes, I am. But, he seems angered with our house acting like a pitstop."

"Oh? For all those Death Eaters, right? He just doesn't understand the importance of it. If he did, he probably would appreciate it more."

Antonio nodded. "Yeah. Sometimes I wish his skull wasn't so thick."


Eric finally entered the Great Hall and sat next to Fry. "Hey, are you okay?"
Fry nodded. "Just... not hungry."
Eric frowned. "You know, you shouldn't show your feelings so much."
"Why?"
"Because, people will start to wonder."
"Wonder what?" Fry snapped, and looked up to his friend.
"Well, if you really ARE German. If you're just another one of those fakes."
"But... it's so depressing. Holly completely ditched us. Hell, everything's falling apart!"
Eric frowned. He reached for a piece of toast. "She can choose what she wants, it's her choice..."
"What about you? How can you let it go so easily?"
Eric looked startled. "Because." He said. "I've made up my mind that I don't care. And I think you and Selia should think of doing the same!"


Kelsi eyed them. "So, you guys."

Holly wasn't really talking to Karin and Antonio. She was practically silent, just eating a pancake.

"So, what?" Libby raised an eyebrow at Kelsi. She was skimming through the first chapter in her Charms book.

"Hmm, I don't know. Why can't we talk about anything?"
