Transfiguration

"Right, anyway." she looked at Serenity. "Miss Rosensteel, will you begin please."

"Oh, uh, hold on.." Serenity flipped it to the page and started reading.

Blocking out the reader, Amanda read by herself, eyes skimming the page, trying to soak in as much as she could before reader caught up. She rubbed her eyes, every time she blinked the words of the page seemed to get blurrier and blurrier. Damn, lack of 6 hours of sleep or more killed me last night.

Suddenly, the bell rang, announcing the next period. Kelsi quickly wrote down her homework and lifted her bag. She walked out quickly to head off to Charms.

Amanda, having already scribbled her homework down, left to spend her one free block in the library.

Serenity, because Ravenclaw house had Transfiguration, was sitting in here with her hair all wet.

[=/ I don't think you have to have it just because Rachel is. Becuase when we last arc's class schedules, no one's house had all the same main courses. Due to a lot of people being on a two day rotation thing. Your choice though ^_^]

Rachel then sat a few desks away from Serenity. She glanced over at her, and she wrote a note on a piece of paper, folded it into a paper airplane, and she flew it over in her direction.

Amanda, who had mad dashed at some point on the way, made it there breathing heavily. She sat beside Rachel, red in the face.

Serenity stared at the note for a little while, but decided to open it. Plus, she needed to tell Rachel that they had detention.

"Nick is more of a man then Angel will ever. He is probably starving in Azkaban for all we know while Angel is safe and cushy in some university he didn't deserve to get in." And a few second later after Serenity received the note, it began to dissolve and melt away.

[Ouch.]

"I can't believe we made it!"

Serenity wrote a note back, then threw it at Rachel.

Rachel quickly unfolded it, smiling slightly.

"Just stop, okay, insulting each others boyfriends is just mean to them. We have detention tonight at 8, by the way." The note didn't burn up. It's just not cool like that.

"...What?"

"For starting a food fight." Serenity mouthed glumly.

"Explains it." And Rachel sadly pulled out her Transfiguration book and Magical Theory one.

McGonagall walked between the desk, heading towards the front of the classroom. "As you know, Christmas break starts tomorrow. Let me warn you though, I'm not going to give you a slack off day because of this. You are going to master the skill of turning the feathers in front of you," McGonagall motioned to her feather, "Into a dove and back again. If you are half way to decent, you won't need the words for this. You simply flick your wand to your left, counter clockwise twice, and flick towards the feather. Begin your practice."
