The Best Banister Sliding Staircase In All of Hogwarts

"Probably from the lack of food you're digesting is lowering your immunity." Jake suddenly realized that sounded smart for him. "What is immunity anyways?"

"Immunity is your resistance to disease. And, what makes you think I'm not eating?" She sounded worried, even a bit scared.

"Instinct, I guess."

"That's silly." Selia said, rolling her eyes.

"Don't we have class?"

"Yup. Oh, God!" Selia said, turning and running down the stairs. "I have to go, see you at free period, okay?!" And then, halfway down the stairs, she tripped and nearly fell down the whole set of stairs.

Jake walked over to her and blinked. "Yup, you're anorexic." Despite looking shocked, he didn't really see the whole importance of it all. You know, how it could almost be deadly.

"I am NOT!" Selia screamed shrilly at him. "Why are you so nagging?!" She shouted, standing up and going down the stairs again, holding onto the rail.

He picked her up and swung her over his shoulder. "Because you weigh... like. Zero elle bees."

"Let me down!" Selia shouted, feeling dizzy. "I need to go to Potions class!"

"Not in this state."

"You.. You just shut up! I haaate you!"

"Really?" He set her down. "That's cool." He shrugged, and walked off looking slightly disappointed.

He's my friend, I shouldn't just let him think I hate him.. Selia thought guiltily. "No, I don't hate you, Jake. Sorry."

"Seriously! Sweet! Okay, let's go to the hospital wing!" He grabbed her hand and pulled her down the stairs. "I mean, a check up won't hurt, right?"

"You need a mental check up!" Selia mumbled, but didn't comment other than that.

"I disagree. I think I'm pretty healthy, thanks for the warning, though!"

Selia laughed. "If my sister hears about this, she'll throw a fit. Probably send me to St Mungos, too.."

"She ought to stay by your side and help you, instead of toss you into St Mungos."

"Nah, my sister doesn't care very much."

"Erugh, what kind of sister do you have?!"

"She goes through guys like underwear, and when she's not going through guys, she's got this one nerdy one she hangs over and tries to rape." Selia said, laughing.

Jake laughed. "Sounds interesting! Well, siblings aren't supposed to be alike.."

"And my favorite thing to do is banister sliding," Selia was saying to her (possible) boyfriend. "It's really fun. Would you like to try?"
"No, this looks stupid.. Plus, we could get hurt."
"There's charms on the stairs. It's like you're flying.."
"Really? Because, it seems lame."
Selia looked a little disappointed. "You should try it. Then you'd know."

"I bet you really can't do it."
"No, I can!" Selia argued.
"Really?"
"Yes, let me show you!" She said confidently, sitting on it properly. "Watch." She said, and pushed off.
But the teachers had removed the charm, to try to stop banister-sliding.
Selia promptly fell off the railing, screaming.
