The Best Banister Sliding Staircase In All of Hogwarts

"No it's not. Look. Everyone's screaming."

"People scream a lot.. I just, I think there'll be somewhere where there's not fighting going on. And I want to go to that place, and take a nap." Selia mumbled.

Jake frowned. "I'm going to keep on fighting. I want to change history. I want this war to end. I want my friends to be free once more."

"You should've been in Gryffindor." Selia said. "I've got nothing else better to do, so.."

"No, I shouldn't. It takes a Ravenclaw to think to themselves- Ahh, this is the way out of this mess. Also, they've got to DO what they know to resolve it. It's that simple. We're not reckless, you know."

"Okay, okay. I get it. I'll stay and fight, stop harping on me."

Jake grinned. "Yay! I love you, Selia!" He hugged her tightly. "Okay, let's do this."

"Yeah, love you too." Selia said, looking sort of dazed. "Do this. Right." She started spinning curses, as many as she could remember from class. "I just can't stop thinking about dying. Let's talk about trains."

"Choo choo!" He yelled. With each 'Choo', he shot spells blasting the death-eaters away.

"One time I was on a train, and it was actually a steam train, you know," Selia said, talking aimlessly. "Crucio! And, I went up to the conductor's booth and got to honk the horn."

"What the heck?" Jake asked, as he dodged another spell. "Reducto!" he yelled, and a man shot through a wall, the wall collapsing in the process.

"I'm telling you a story." Selia said. "I like telling stories. Do you think that killed him?"

"Naw. He's probably just going to be in a lot of pain when he wakes up." Jake spun around, and grabbed a guy, pointing his wand at the guy's stomach, and yelled Reducto again.

"Wow, you're really skilled at harming people. Oh, God. Dementors." Selia said, and indeed, there were two dementors approaching from the cracked wall.

Jake dropped his wand. "Whoah.. it's so cold." He picked it up, and felt a rushing feeling of dread. Like death was going to grab him and shred him to pieces. "Selia.. let's get out of here. Please. Those guys... they're from our Second year. I don't want to be near them." And so he grabbed her and they ran off to another part.

"I feel sick." Selia said. "You're right, just.. Just keep fighting." She smiled, and then started cursing people again.

Jake stopped. "Selia, you're bleeding!"

"What? I'm not.. Oh, yeah. I guess I am." Selia looked down at her shirt. "This is ruined."

"Don't worry about your shirt! No wonder you feel sick, and horrible! You've been bleeding the whole time! Selia!"

"Jake!" Selia said. "I'm fine, leave me alone. There are people dying."

"So will you, if we don't get you somewhere safe!!"

"I'll go, but I want to help. I want to fight people and kil-injure Death Eaters, and.. if that means that I get hurt, that's part of the deal. I want to be brave, and strong, and mean something. But," Selia crossed her arms. "It does hurt. So we should go."

Jake took her hand. "Follow me!" They ran down the stairs, him leading the way, shouting spells to clear the way.
