Amanda's New Apartment

"IT'S OPEN!" Olivia hollered in the door's general direction.

"Liv, it's not! Why would I leave it unlocked? Someone could easily rob me. Like you're already doing with my food." Amanda hopped off the chair, shuffling towards the door.

"Because I just came in and left it unlocked, duh." Olivia returned to Amanda's fridge to hunt for something actually digestible.

"I locked it after you as you made a made run for the fridge. Doesn't Bore feed you!?" Amanda opened the door. "Hello?"

Of course, it was Serenity. She had just gotten back from court, so she was wearing a cute, modern grey and black suit, and her hair was back in a pretty bun. She looked all polished and pretty and professional. "Hi-- Olivia!? What the hell are you doing here? Well, this obviously means I've got the right place. Hi, Amanda!"

"No!" she said in an exaggerated, drawn-out whine, digging into a dish of leftover ziti. "Hey Ser!"

Amanda stared at Serenity for a minute, completely confused. Uhm... Perky, blonde, knows Olivia and I... Must be from Hogwarts. OH, what's-her-face! Damn, I'm drawing a blank. Ser... Ser... Amanda smiled weakly, it had been years. "Hey, you!"

"I was just trying to contact everyone from Hogwarts- I somehow got on the board of some reunion, and I'm in charge of notifying everyone that there's a reunion or some crap. How are you?"

"Reunion! Not going!"

"Why not, Liv? It'll be fun!"

"Everyone I knew and loved is DEAD!" she exclaimed melodramatically, her mouth half-full of pasta.

Amanda moved out of the doorway to allow What's-her-face to come in. "A reunion could be fun... Liv! I'm dead to you!?"

"Well that's only cause of your brother!" Serenity joked. "Sorry. That wasn't funny. Anyways, yeah, there's a big reunion coming up."

"Or, they're Amanda. Or, I married 'em. Or, they kicked me out - that would would be..." She fell silent on Serenity's remark.

"Did Elroy kick you out? Nooo. I don't think so. He's going to go!"

Amanda cringed. So she's blunt. It's slowly coming back. Seren...Siren?! No, no... Sereni... "It'll be a good laugh to see where everyone is in life..." Amanda said, almost to herself.

"Up your arse, Ser."

Should I ask her name?... Is that rude? "Wonder if Harry's going... We can only talk through owls for so long..."

"Up yours! Anyways, Liv, you're married?! WHEN THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN!? You bitch! You didn't invite me, did you?!"

"We just signed the papers. No ceremony. Besides, I doubt I would've anyway," she said, finishing off the ziti. "You'd have gotten yourself drunk and started making crude remarks and that..."

"Excuse me, that's what you did at MY wedding! I'm not the alcoholic, here!"

"You're a skank. I'm no skank. That's what."

Serenity scoffed. "I'm not a skank anymore! I'm totally faithful. Haven't even looked at those naked men cards that Selia got me for my birthday."

"Oh, congrats on the marriage then." Amanda said awkwardly to Seren...Seren...

"Sure you don't."
