Amanda's New Apartment

"I don't! And Elroy's the perfect husband. He comes home from work promptly on time and we're happily married!"

Amanda stared at Serenity, completely dumbfounded. I give up. "What's your name again?" She said, jumping into the conversation quite bluntly.

"Serenity," She said exasperatedly. "Serenity Astor. Nice to see you again."

Olivia stared at Amanda, starting to crack up.

"Oh, nice to see you again too!" Amanda smiled, embarrassed. The memories were flooding back, and for most of them she hardly kept that smile.

"I'll leave you two to your own devices then. Thanks for lunch." Crack.

Serenity started to tap her foot. "Well. Reunion. Soon."

Amanda tried to stop Olivia, but she was too late. The awkward silence began to settle in. "Um...yeah. I'll go. Is there any notice?"

"Nope! Bye. Just wanted to see how poor and lonely you were." Crack! Serenity just couldn't have left without that little bitchy thing.

Amanda glared bitterly at the spot Serenity stood. Poor and lonely my ass. I'm getting tons of profits from my book, and I have tons of friends Amanda began to edge towards the closet to get her coat. She was heading out. Before she left she glanced at the spot Serenity stood. "And I never fell in love with a murderer and became a prostitute." With that, as if she had some victory, Amanda left.

Unfortunately, Serenity had already gotten the last word in. Oh, the sweet satisfaction.

Amanda was making a chicken stir-fry for dinner, waving her wand around as she put together a salad, awaiting Trevor to come home from his shift at the restaurant. They had been with each other for quite a while, and Trevor had been living with Amanda now. Amanda was getting sick of having to do anything magic between the time he left for work and he got home, so she was planning to tell him during dinner. In her mind she was going over all the ways to say it. "Trevor... I'm a witch." Nonono... too blunt. "Trevor, that book I wrote? Not fantasy. It's real. I'm a witch." Um... Amanda's train of thought was broken when she had to go stop Pinkie from walking on the stove to steal chicken from the pan.

Trevor returned from work to find Amanda performing such witchcrafty things. Gasp!

But, to the joy of many, everything went well.
