Outskirts Of Appleby, North Lincolnshire

"...Oh. Maybe that was Serenity. I don't really remember." she glared at her. "Seriously though. What are you doing?"

"Nothing."

"...THEN WHY IS THERE FORM SPILLING OUT OF THAT POT AND INTO THE KITCHEN?!" she screamed. Rachel then ran over, and grabbed a spatula, and began to wave it around threateningly. "OLIVIA! I thought you weren't going to cause trouble!"

"I put it back!" She raised her hands in defense, backing away slightly.

"...Listen up, Olivia Astor." Rachel marched up to her, and pointed her spatula in Olivia's chest. "...You can knock down Stonehenge, drain the world's ocean, and drop a bomb on Japan, but you do NOT mess up MY KITCHEN! Do you understand?!"

Olivia hesitated, staring up at Rachel with those same glassy eyes. "... I didn't do any of those, though."

"...That may be true. But it's entirely possible to do that. Olivia, you're capable of doing insane things." Rachel chuckled a little. "Just nothing insane in my kitchen, or in my house for that matter."

"Okay." Olivia nodded. Then, a few seconds of staring at one another later, she said something about bodily injury to one of Rachel's hens before drifting into the living room.

"...What did you just say about my chicken?!" said Rachel chasing after her. "We just got them a couple days and go, and now I bet you terrified her!"

"Nothing, nothing!" She went on under her breath, "I wanted to see how far it would fly..."

"...Olivia, it's okay if you do that, but just a little toss in the air is about it."

She said something else and swung her foot back and forth a little bit.

"Oh yeah!" Rachel snapped her fingers. "You can sleep on the couch tonight. Eric's not staying with us anymore."

"Seriously? I just got settled in out there."

Rachel shrugged. "Well, if you REALLY wanted to stay out there, you could. We can just find another boarder to take in." she said sarcastically.

"Nah. That one I kicked kept trying to bite me. Whatever it is chickens do."

"But that's abuse towards the animals!" she cried. "Olivia. If you hurt my animals, you're not allowed to stay." She then lowered her voice. "Especially because I'm going to get a goat in a couple days. But don't tell Nick!"

A few days later...

"Niiiick!" she said, running in the house. "I have a surprise for you!"

"What is it?" he called, from his place in the kitchen. He was reading the Prophet, as usual.

"Put down that silly newspaper, and I'll show you!" she said, her eyes sparkling. Rachel was obviously thrilled.

She led him outside, and there was indeed a small, brown goat, casually eating a small patch of weeds, about six feet away from the chicken coop.

"This is Heidi!" she said, introducing him to her.

"... Heidi?" Nicolas stared at it, trying to pull words out of the boiling pot of anger he was trying desperately not to show. "Not only did you buy another thing without even bothering to ask me, but you had to give it a cliché name?"

Rachel frowned. She was not expecting this kind of reaction! "I just thought about the book, you know, Heidi! She took care of goats on Grandpa's mountain or something."

"But this isn't grandpa's mountain. This is Nicolas' Land! The land that I paid for, without you even telling me about it! I don't go work my ass off for you to spend all of our money without even asking!"

"Nicolas Land?!" exclaimed Rachel in disbelief. She then began to grow angry. "You listen up, Your Majesty, I am your WIFE, I'm the greatest good you're EVER going to get! Who cooks for you, cleans for you, and births your children?! ME! Now, after doing all of that, the least you can let me do is GET A DAMN GOAT TO CUT DOWN ON THE WEEDING!" she yelled, getting very close in his face.

Despite what hour it was, a mostly-asleep Olivia had emerged from the chicken coop and was now petting the goat.
