Outskirts Of Appleby, North Lincolnshire

"MAMA... just killed a man... pulled a against head, pulled my trigger now he's dead..." she sung between gritted teeth.

"Oh, honey. While you're out, please get me a new pair of dress shoes. Mine are starting to wear thin."

"..." Rachel tried not to say anything, but her face was growing significantly more red by the second. Finally, she just exploded.

"NICK! YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT ME ALWAYS SPENDING, BUT HERE YOU ARE ORDERING ME AROUND TO BUY YOU STUFF! YOU'RE JUST A HYPOCRITE!" she screeched.

"So wait. You're getting mad at me for wanting to buy stuff, but when you go and spend all day shopping while I'm hard at work... that's okay to you?" He nodded slowly. "I see."

Rachel looked hurt. "I wasn't shopping ALL day. And I work just as hard as you do! But... I'm done fighting. I'll cut back on my spending, if you stop throwing away everything."

"I don't believe you," he said simply. "You said that after you bought this house and right before you bought the barn, some chickens, and a goat."

"But it already came with the barn!" she cried out. "I just renovated it... and brought in the animals... oh, stop holding grudges! You're acting worse then some GIRLS I know!"

"It's hard not to hold a grudge when your wife goes off spending every single Sickle you have!" He hollered. "And dammit, why does everyone think it's funny to call me girlish?! You, of all people, should know I'm sure as hell not a girl!"

Damnit. That certainly didn't work. Maybe a kinder approach would work.

"Because Nick," Rachel suddenly ran over, and threw her arms around his shoulders lovingly, and stroked his longer hair. "They still see that scrawny eleven year old. But, I certainly don't. I see the wonderful man you truly are."

"Says the woman who just called me a hypocrite and said I'm acting worse than some GIRLS you know." Nicolas rolled his eyes. He wasn't falling for this. What, did Rachel think he was stupid?

"Fine then." Rachel took her hands off of them, and crossed them. "I'm TRYING to be nice, and all forgiving and lovey-dovey, but YOU don't want that." She stood up, her arms still crossed. "I'm going to bed! Maybe you'll be nicer in the morning, with all the furniture back, which I happen to know that you hid in the attic!"

Nicolas stared at her like she was an idiot. "The attic is too small for all of our furniture, and even if it weren't, the floor wouldn't be strong enough. It would collapse."

"...Oh just be quiet!"

Nicolas snickered. "You're so pretty when you're flustered!"

"...Leave me alone."

"It's true, though!"

Rachel was leaning over the toilet that morning, puking up her breakfast.

Nicolas was running around the house that morning. He was running late, which was unusual for him. He heard Rachel, though, and stopped to look at her in the bathroom for a brief moment.

"Honey, you okay?"

Rachel, with a little bit of barf dribbling up on her lip looked up at him looking rather pathetic.

"I think I'm pregnant!" she whined.

"That's GREAT!" Nicolas called over his shoulder as he ran down the stairs to get his work cloak from the coathook. "Try not to get any barf on the floor!"

With that, he Apparated off to work.

"Did you even hear what I said?!" she called after him, but it was to late. She got up, flushed the toilet and side. With a shake of her head, she began to finish tidying up the house. Might as well get a move on.

Rachel had unfortunately missed Kelsi's wedding. She was completely sick to her stomach and was bed ridden.

On the other hand Rachel was sitting peacefully on the couch with a magazine in her hand. Last month in August, she had her baby, William who was currently peacefully asleep. And since then, nothing super exciting had happened. All her friends were giving birth and here she was at home with a magazine and a bowl of tapioca pudding.

Nicolas came home and threw his briefcase onto the coffee table with a loud thud, and plopping into the lounge chair. "Hi, honey."

"Hi Nick!" she smiled at him. She set down her magazine, and stretched her arms out. "Okay... Will is our last baby for a while, deal? I've only been getting a couple hours of sleep each night lately."
