Staircase.

"No, it's not OK!" said Karin, who was getting a little louder. "Listen, it's not good for you to be locked in that library all the time! You need some fresh air, and some friends! And we're going to get both of those right now! You understand me?"

His eyes were wide.
"Erm- Okay?"

Today, Selia was wearing a casual gray sweater dress, with pitch-black leggings underneath, and tall black heel boots. She had nearly no makeup on, just some lipgloss. Her hair was back in a high ponytail, with straight bangs nearly touching the tips of her long eyelashes. Selia stopped next to Antonio, standing right behind him. "Antonio, I'm really sorry I sprayed that stuff, I was being totally uncalled for!"

"It's fine, Selia," Antonio said.
"Besides, you were just being your annoying self. I got over it. You're forgiven."

"All right, and we're going to outside, right now!" she said excitedly, and grabbed him by the sleeve and began to pull him outside.

Selia smiled a bit, but mumbled "You think I'm annoying? Thanks."

"Ow! Watch it-" Eric snapped.

"Yes, I do, Selia. Now let's go."

Selia looked crestfallen, but she slowly followed Karin.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't know it hurt over there. Did you fall off a bike or a broom or something during Christmas break?"

"... I fell off my chair."

"Oh, that must have been quite a fall then. I remembered that one time I was going to walk in a room, and than my sister Rachel ran in front of me and shut the door and I walked into and a good big bruise on my forehead. That hurt."

Eric smiled feebly.
"Eh,"

"Anyway, did you have a nice Christmas? It was probably nice to see your family again." said Karin. "We were going to home, but Rachel insisted we stay, so yeah."

"It was OK," Eric muttered.

"Eh, we stayed. There was nothing to do at home, and it would be a rackus," Fry laughed.

And lo, Holly came out of nowhere. "Hey everyone. Nice to see you back, Eric."

"Just OK? Common, something neat must have had happened." said Karin, who just so happened to be around the same height as him, patted him on his head.

"Don't do that. And it was just ok. Nothing too big. Same old stuff."


Fry grinned.
"Hey, Holly! Eric surrendered!"

Selia bought some lollipops from a shifty-looking kid, and started licking hers.
Then, her eyes got really, really, wide, and she got this huge smile on her face.
Then she fell down, bringing everyone down with her.

"Wah!!" yelped Karin as she tumbled down the stairs.

"Did he surrender, or are you trying to force him?" Holly asked. And Holly fell.

At least it was still break, and she was wearing jeans instead of a skirt.

Selia was choking on the stupid lollipop. She got up, still coughing.

Antonio, Fry, and Eric fell all the way down.

Fry grabbed out, flipped over Eric, and yeah. Eric's robes got caught on some staircase part, and ripped. It revealed part of his back, which had a long bruise running down the side.

Karin stood up, brushing herself off, laughing even though she fell down. But than, she noticed the bruise. "Eric... what's that?" she asked pointing to the bruise, and than running over towards him.

Eric tried to pull down his robes.
"Nothing, I told you I fell of my chair,"


"It looks like a foot, Eric..." Antonio said, observing it.

"Well, it's not like anybody's been kicking me!" he snapped, and stood up. Then he turned sharply into a corridor, and left.

Holly sat at the bottom of her stairs, her curly hair in her face. She stood up, and pulled it out of her eyes, then re-tied her hair ribbon. She popped her back, then went up the stairs to where everybody was. Holly had heard what Eric had said, though.

"... I'm concerned," she said in a small voice.
