Charms Class

Lavender mumbled something that sounded like "nuuuuuuuuu" and hit her head on her desk.

Liv grinned. She pointed her wand at the feather, and then... just stared at it.

[A-S-D-F-J-K-L, WHAT'S THE SPELL, KEL? Oh, hell, did someone ring the dinner bell?]

"We'll be practicing on feathers, as you can see, and here is the wand movement-" he swished his wand and yeah.
"Now, here is the charm you must say when doing your wand movement, Mobiliarbus!" The feather rose a few centimeters. Professor moved his wand around and the feather when the way the wand was going. He raised his wand and the feather lifted a bit and started spinning. Then it landed back on his desk soundlessly.
"Now, you guys try, and good luck!"

"MOBIALARBASDFJKL!" said Liv. And, of course, it bursts into flames.[/hypocrisy]

Flitwick smiled nervously, took out the flames, and gave her a new feather.


"Mobiliarbus!" the wand did nothing.
"Mobiliarbus!" she said a bit more impatiently.
"MOBILIARBUS!"
"Mobiliarbus..."
"Mo..BILLY-are-bus!"
"MOBILIARBUS RAWR!"
She raised her hand.

Flitwick came over.
"Yessery?"

"I did it more than five times and it still didn't work."
"...^^>" he left without answering.
And Kelsi resolved into doing her charm.

And Lavender failed. Epicly.

"SPEAK!" Kelsi yelled and poked her feather. It clucked like a chicken.

Robin jumped and glared at Kelsi.

Kelsi giggle-snorted.
"It wooorrrkeeedd!" she laughed and resolved into doing the actual spell.

[IMA GO SEE.]

Liv stared at her burning feather. "Uhm, Professor Flitwick?"

Flitwick turned around.
"Yes?"

She pointed to the burning feather.

He sighed, and gave her another.

"Eh, Lav, you should try doing a more swift, round swish. It helps add strength. Well, it's working with me. My feather just floated a few inches before falling back down. Here, let me show you..."

"Mobiliarbus!" She did a huge windmill swing with her arm, and punched Robin in the process of doing so.


"OW! KELSI!"

"Sorry!"

"But it's still..." She sighed and started blowing on it, hoping it would go out.

Lavender did so. Her feather lifted about an inch.

"You know the water charm, Ms. Illumination!" Flitwick squeaked.

Kelsi smiled.
"IT WORKED."

"Uhm... Aquamenti[sp]." The fire went out.

Serenity glared at the thing they were trying to move. "Mobiliarbus!" It inched towards her. "Mobiliarbus!" It came towards her again. "Mobiliarbus!!!!!" It jumped up and started tickling her, Serenity screaming and falling over.
