Potions Class

Amanda walked in and sat down. She stared at the desk blankly thinking about Harry and the maybe homework club.

Professor Snape was in there, scribbling something on a piece of parchment. He gave a cold glance at Amanda, when she walked in, but he didn't say anything. Snape just continued to write whatever he was writing.

Amanda, had partially looked up at Snape when she sat down, gave him a cold look worthy of himself, and then continued looking at the desk.

Rachel walked in, and sat down at a desk in the middle of the room. She than dug around in her bag, and pulled out a rather long piece of parchment, and her Transfiguration book. She might as well begin working on that essay now; she had a long a way to go.

Professor Snape looked over at Rachel and said coldly: "Five points from Ravenclaw. The only subject we will be studying in this classroom is Potions."

"..." Rachel didn't say anything, but put away her Transfiguration and pulled out her Potions materials instead.

Amanda was writing something on a blank piece of parchment, like a schedule for work and stuff.

Schedule?

2.Potions homework...

Amanda thought how silly it was and how it was downright Cara like to be making a work paper... Shuddering, she stopped writing and put the paper in her bag.

Professor Snape was still writing stuff. XP

Amanda pulled out her homework, hoping to sneak it...

"Five points from Hufflepuff," said Snape crisply. "As I said before, the only work to be done in this class is Potions, and there will be no special exceptions."

Lin walked in, Lin the Slytherin. Sitting at her front row desk, she pulled out her Transfiguration homework and began to work ^^

(Wait though, today's the first day of class, and they're just having Potions. How can they have homework?)

Libby came in, and sat next to Rachel.

"Yo," she whispered.

Amanda then began to doodle on a pievce of scrap paper...

(GWAH -.- Gotta go might not be back cya!)

Amanda sat there bored, looking at Proffesor Snape with tired eyes. She wasn't quite in the mood to doodle and the boredem was killing her. To the author's surprise she hadn't fallen asleep, yet. Slowly, Amanda put her arms on the cold table and put her head down in the nook of her arms. Forcing herself to stay away, Amanda began to count the stones placed on the wall she was staring at.

And so blah blah blah, Professor Snape rambled on and on about OWLS and today's lesson and blah blah blah...

AND THE BELL RANG FOR LUNCH.

But, before the class was accused, Professor Snape announced the homework. "I want a fifteen inch essay about the uses of Dragon Blood in Potions. And, I want it handed it in by next Potions lesson."

Amanda flung her bag over her shoulder and darted through the crowd, waiting at the door for her friends.

Rachel slowly got all her stuff together in her bag, and wandered out the door. "We have so much homework today... and it's only lunch time! I mean, a foot long essay (Lets shorten her essay up. XD) and a fifteen inch one too!" Rachel looked exasperated. "Sheesh, I'm going to start my homework now..."

Amanda sighed as she followed Rachel out the door, "I'm with you. I think there's a study room on the fifth floor..."

"Really? I'm going to the Library. There's lots of reference books there." And Rachel walked towards the direction of it.

Amanda thought about it for a whule and decided to go with Rachel. "Reference books right... Echhhhh my brain is fried from all this OWL junk..."
