Charms Class

"Thanks for the help.. I'll give my most prized possession, then!" Serenity blinked,hugging Kelsi and Lavender. "My mum and dad are getting divorced, and they need me and Selia to sell some of our best stuff."

Kelsi stared at Serenity for a moment.
"Oh, that's terrible, Serenity!" she hugged her friend tightly.
"I'm so sad for you, oh, and- why your best stuff?"

"It's fine. I have to make up for their arguing somehow, though. And-- They need money for lawyers, or me and Selia will have to live in a battlefield. So, we've decided we're going to give up our necklaces. I have one that's a diamond key, and she has this necklace just like it with a locket, but with a huge lock on it, and we couldn't open it unless we both wanted to. It's been a game since she was five and I was six. I gave up trying to open it when I was ten, though. The goody-goody wouldn't let me near her necklace!" Serenity held up the necklaces, both of them. "I've got Selia's now, though, and I CAN FINALLY FIND OUT WHAT'S IN THERE!!" Serenity unlocked it quickly, and two little pictures of them as babies fell out. She looked terribly angered. "THAT'S--- IT?!!!?" Serenity stuffed them back in an envelope and sent them off.

"Awww, you were such a cute baby. "

"T-thanks. So, anyways, does anyone know how to do that spell? I have to learn it! My grades are so bad!"

Kelsi held her own 24K gold necklace that had a thin cursive K with amethyst embroidery.
"Well, maybe those baby pictures were of your and your sister. The most prized ones. It's not an 'THAT'S IT?!' Because, whenever two siblings possess precious necklaces, then it proves that they have a bond. And, even if you need the money for it, you shouldn't have to send away something so special."

"I don't need something material to prove I love my sister and she loves me." Serenity handed the envelope to her owl and it flew off.

"I think I'm getting there."

Robin giggled.
"You made it squack...."
"It scared you..." Kelsi retorted.
"But still..."
"OH SHUT UP!"
Robin frowned.
"Everybody's telling me to shut up today..."
"Then maybe if you stopped saying such rude rema-"
"They're not rude! I bet if Lavender, or Serenity said it, you'd just laugh it off!"
"... And?"
"And, I'm just saying! Why are you taking a feeble comment so seriously?"
"I DUNNO!" Kelsi snapped impatiently.
"Spazz..." Robin stomped off.

Kelsi turned to Serenity.
"I know, that's actually really true. Just, it really brings out the bond."

Serenity smiled, proud she had said something reasonable and meaningful for once. "Seriously, though, can someone quiz me? I'm doing TERRIBLE in history of magic."

Lavender stopped, bent over, and unclipped the sterling silver charm bracelet from her ankle. She kept walking, and held up the bracelet (or anklet). "And not just necklaces - bracelets, too. Holly and I each have one of these cool charm bracelets. We have different charms, though. But Serenity, you are right. You don't need material items to show bond, but it's still nice to have something to strengthen the bond."

Serenity sighed through her nose. "I know. It's just, sometimes, I wish that we didn't have as much. It would mean more. Instead, we just throw stuff around, it's not-- meaningful. It's not emotional. If you give someone a gift, it shouldn't just be throwing away money, it should be showing them you love them. The goblin wars were caused by humans not letting goblins have wands due to many clauses, but least known, because wizards thought goblins would break the statue of secrecy?"

"Yes. Something to represent the bond." Kelsi smiled cheerfully.
"... I miss Andrea."

"ALRIGHT! If there was a person with a magical flying bike and was using it, would that be classified as an enchanted muggle object and be sent to the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department, or would it be classified as preforming unauthorized charms on ordinary objects and be sent to the Improper Use of Magic office? I think MoMAd. Because, it IS a muggle object! What about you guys?"

"MoMAD. It's a muggle artifact that has been misused, and IUoMo would be mostly if you misused magic. So it's like if you shot these comets into the sky at a muggle area, that would be misused magic. But, since it's a flying bike, it's a misused bike- Nevermind..." Kelsi grinned.
"I just invented all that. XD"

Serenity's happy face depleted. "Really..? Because I thought we were reviewing for History of Magic. Although, that's more Magical Law.. Life is like a slideshow, all the people I know, and all the things that I know, through all the highs and lows.." Serenity sang softly.

Lavender shrugged. "I'm failing History of Magic, so I dunno."

"Same. I was just guessing." Kelsi shrugged.
"Wouldn't that be more Muggle studies, though?"

"I don't take Muggle Studies. "

Serenity sighed. "Do you guys think I could ever be smart and commanding?"

"Well, you already are, Serenity. And neither do I, Lav. I don't need to."

"My dad was Muggle-born, so I could just ask him about Muggle stuff."

"Yep!" Kelsi said cheerfully. She began giggling a bit.
"Hey, what should we do for our break?" Kelsi pulled her mouse out of her bag.
"Hey little Freddie!" Kelsi cooed and rubbed him between his ears.

Lavender shrugged. "Dunno."
