The History of Forest Hills.
[Don't worry, actual roleplaying will go on here. =3]
Somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean lies an uncharted island... the Brown family was enjoying a family boat ride through the Atlantic, Casey threatening to throw Drew overboard if he didn't behave, and they saw something odd.
"What the hell is that?!" Casey yelled, pointing at something that merely looked like a rock in the ocean.
"I dunno, water?" Holly guessed, immersed in herSUPERMARIOSUNSHINE Animal Crossing DS game. Grace and Lavender were also ignoring her.
"No, it's something weird. Mom, can you go towards that rock thing?" Casey asked Mrs. Brown. She nodded, her curly auburn locks swaying, and swerved the speedboat towards the direction of said rock.
Once they began to get closer, said rock actually turned out to be a small island. It grew larger, and was at least a few miles wide by a few miles long. It was covered in trees, green stuff, and hills. Mrs. Brown stopped the speedboat in the shallower water, and everybody but her and Mr. Brown stepped out.
"You guys look around; we are looking for a new place to live after VMK shut down and Leaf Hills is no more." Mr. Brown said, and him and his wife started to drive around the small island.
"C'mon, guys," Casey said, motioning for everybody to follow her on a dirt trail through the trees. She had to duck down low so the lower branches didn't hit her, and the same for Drew and Lavender. Then, Lavender stopped, eyes wide.
"What is it, Lav?" Holly and Grace asked, looking at their oneechan. "Are you okay?"
Without answering, Lavender sped through the trees, leading the others.
"Lav! I'm the leader, dibbit! >=[" Casey yelled. Lavender would only defy her oneechan for one good reason.
"MY OTOH SPACE MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111112" Lavender screamed. She was found in a clearing by her panting siblings, cuddling a monkey in a spacesuit. "THEY MADE A COMEBACK!! 8D"
"Dibbit, I thought that was the end of the stupid monkeys after VMK closed. -_-" Casey mumbled.
"They always make a comeback." Lavender said solemnly. "They always do."
"Should I be scared?" Grace asked Holly. It's a whole other story as to how Grace doesn't know much about the Brown family. Holly nodded at her, and Drew put his thumb to his upper lip.
And, a twist of stupidity was added to the Forest Hills history.
Communicating in the Otoh language of the Otoh Space Monkeys, they made hand motions and screeching sounds at Lavender. She nodded, and responded in the language, until she finally said, "They were gonna make a more epic comeback with a totally finished Forest Hills before we got here. They're constructing right now, here's the future town square site. Our street is gonna be over there" - Lavender pointed at one hill, a rather large, grassy one - "and atop that hill is going to be the mayor's house, which will undoubtedly be one of the family. Since Casey is of legal age and this is a wizarding community, the competition will be between her, mom, and dad."
"Oh great, it's like Obama vs. Hillary vs. McCain in teh U.S. @_@" Casey rolled her eyes. "Since Obama won, can I be Barackette? The girl version of him, so I win? XD"
"no." Drew said simply.
"Nobody asked you, Ryuuzaki."
"no u."
"That's a stupid comeback."
"ur mom is a stupid comeback."
"Yes it is."
"No, that's part of the comeback, see, ur mom is a comeback and - "
"She's your mom, too."
"This is just like the wizard swear when I was six, only reversed. :3"
"Yes, now stfu."
"no u."

The children found their parents on the boat, and explained the situation. They would have to set up camp with the stuff they had managed to grab from VMK and wait until their house was done; or partially done, they would just have to renovate later.
And thus is the history of how Forest Hills came to be. This will be part of the roleplay, with Lavender's family and everything, and with the residents of Forest Hills, and all of that stuff like with the packing for Hogwarts and Christmas and stuff. And it also lets me get construction done without getting construction done. =3
