Rachel was back on her bed, staring at the ceiling not really blinking. "Sometimes, I think I'm the only sane and mature one in Hogwarts..."

Re: Monaseem Household.
Rachel was lazying around on a couch, not doing much. Since it was Christmas time, and it was supposed to be hanging out with the family, she wasn't allowed to go out and see her friends. Which, of course, obviously sucked for her.

Re: Monaseem Household.
"This is garbage!"
Rachel's farther angrily stomped in and through what look like about five pink phamplets on the table. "Really, this propaganda is pure garbage!" said with the man with his rough sounding Italian accent.
Rachel looked up curiously. Summer vacation has just begun recently, and here she was, reading an old copy of Witches' Weekly.
"Marco, I need to talk you for a minute. Alone." said Rachel's mom glancing at her daughter and then leading her husband into a room with a closed door.
Too see what the fuss was about Rachel got up and casually ambled over to the pink pamphlets. Which, on further expection happened to have printed on them...
...Mudbloods and the Dangers They Pose to a Peaceful Pure-Blood Society
And without even reading the pamphlet, Rachel's stomach did a flip-flop and her heart rate began to speed rather fast.

Re: Monaseem Household.
So, Rachel laid down on her bed, with her eyes shut, trying to relax. If she couldn't help any of the Muggle-borns, she could help Elroy get his life back.

Re: Monaseem Household.
Rachel gazed out the window, watching the soft white snow fall in drifts surronding the house. Christmas time! A season of hope, peace and renewal!
"Like that applies to the wizarding world." she muttered to herself. But, maybe she could help somebody else. She couldn't help the Cruises and Nick, but there was always someone else should write too.
So, she sat down in her chair beside a small old desk, and pulled out a piece of spare parchment, got out an old quill, and uncorked a small bottle of ink.
And she began to write a letter to Elroy.

Re: Monaseem Household.
Rachel stared out the window for a long time, thinking... "He'll reply soon!" She thought to herself, so she decided to run downstairs and do some stuff.
When she came back upstairs three hours later, she had no reply, and this led her to feel really frustrated. She sat down on the bed, fuming until finally, she got an idea...
She pulled on her cloak, and she took a deep breath, and apparated.

Re: Monaseem Household.
"Mum, I don't feel so good."
Rachel was staring at her mum, feeling full of concern. Lately, Mrs. M. had been looking especially stressed out and sad, because of the death of Karin. The last thing she needed was a sick child who had to leave school early on her hands.
"Rachel, do you think you can go by yourself? To the hospital?" she asked, with dark circles all around her eyes.
"Yes." And Rachel threw a cloak around her, and she was on her way.
