"YES MA'AM!" He stayed still, waiting for the first year to return with the tacos. A few minutes later, he did, yelping at the burning hot plate. Kard took it, rolling his eyes, and covered it up, waiting for Olivia.

And she didn't come back. =3=

Livi was in the dorm again, lying on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She was tossing a crumpled piece of paper parchment from hand to hand. At least SOMEONE in Hogwarts had gotten first. Even if it was a tie.

Masked randomly appeared, pecking on the closed window. He was carrying the note that was earlier written for Olivia.

And, another thing. Why on earth were they having a ball? I mean, really, all it did was increase dating pressure on students, which was nearly at maximum pressure already. Although, what if Cedric asked her? That would probably reverse her state of mind. But oh well, the pressure gauge would still stand, now wouldn't it? So, nothing would really change for anyone else. Although, as she thought more about it, it seemed that all -- or most, anyway -- of her main group of friends all had someone to go with already. There was Rachel and Nicolas, Libby and Max (although, they were still fighting. But, let's face it, it's inevitable.), Serenity and Ichichan, Amanda and Oliver's brother, whose name she forgot, Pansy and Draco, heck, even Milly and Bore. And there were probably others, but she didn't bother to remember any more than that. It was enough. Plus, Cedric would likely go with that Cho Chang girl. Then, the horrific thought struck her that she might actually end up being stuck with Krad Elddir. She shuddered at the thought.
But, her thoughts suddenly snapped back to the piece of parchment. Was this her Charms homework?! So, she quickly sat up and uncrumpled it. Quickly skimming over the contents, she realized that it indeed wasn't. And so, the answer to that question was...

"Nah."

[That took me like twenty minutes. o_o;]

It was as she was leaning back again that she noticed Masked. So, reluctantly, she got up and opened the window. She untied the note and read it. Quickly, picking up a random muggle pencil thing she'd brought for the reason that it was easier to write notes like this without having to set up the ink bottle and find a quill and blah blah blah.

Meet me on the third floor in the trophy room. Don't feel like writing and such. - Liv

Livi was staring out a window. Wow, it was already Christmas vacation. The first half of the year had gone by so fast. And what really sucked was that Christmas Eve was tomorrow. Oh, joy. Again, she wondered exactly what the point of having a dance was? I mean, dating was completely overrated.

Oh, dear god, she thought she had told herself to NOT retain what Ichichan had taught her over the summer.

But, nonetheless, it was highly likely that none of her classmates would grow up to marry who they were coupled with now.

But, then again, what exactly was that plan of Ichichan's for? Hmph, as though it would work.

As a matter of fact, the thought crossed her of purposefully foiling the plan... Oh, what fun that would be. But how to do it...?

Oh, wait, didn't Ichichan say something about a noose in the loose ceiling board in the library?

Oh, well, that would change things. So, the answer of whether or not she would break up the plan, was...

Liv polished a small clear spot in the window, which had begun to fog up. "Nah..."

And then, a few minutes later, she decided to go find Cedric. Who really gave a crap about the rule that the guy should ask a girl? And besides, he was probably already going with Chew Chain or whatever her name was. And so, she left.

Livi head-pillow'd once she was back in the dorm. "I'M AN IDIOT, YOU GUYS."

Pansy was just there taking the curls out of her long very thick black hair. She was clad in a frilly and pink dress, with lots of cream colored bows and stuff in it. "What did you now?" she asked as she took out a curl hanging down near her face.

"I'm an idiot." She rolled over and sat up. "You look nice. Draco?"

Milly, too, was fixing up her hair, already in an emerald-green ballgown that fell to the floor.

Livi noticed that they were most mostly ready. Then, realized that it was about two hours until the ball. So, she pulled the curtains shut around her bed so she could change. Because, being an author avatar, she's also over-modest.

Apparently, she didn't feel like going. So, dressed and ready and such, she was lying face-down on her bed. She hadn't even gotten a date, unlike most all of her friends. All she knew of, anyways. Oh, the utter shame.

Lin appeared in front of Olivia with her hands on her hips. Her blonde hair was straight and she was wearing a long black princess dress with no sleeves witch puff out at the bottoms. It had small cuts in it where either leg or purple fabric showed. "That's it. I am getting you to Yule!" As she spoke Lin's large black earring jiggled.

She turned her head and glared up at Lin. "Nooooo.... can't.... I'm too stupid..."

"No, you really aren't. You are bright, charming, and a good person. And very very cunning. A boy who wouldn't go with you is an idiout. Now please common!" Lin begged.

(Bwahaha random Lin moment.)

"He's not an idiot." She turned her face into the pillow again.

"No but you're just a little shy!" Lin's black gloved hand grabbed Olivia's arm and began to pull her. "Common!"

And thus, Livi was dragged. "Ack, don't get floor dirt all over my dress. D:"

Lin stopped. "Okay then walk with me! I heard they got some really awesome decorations... And there's plenty of singles there..." Lin cringed as she said this thinking of Elroy. She never had gotten the nerve to ask him.. "Hey wanna meet there I gotta get something?"
