Defence Against the Dark Arts

Cara raised her hand. Moody looked at her for a moment, then limped over to her desk and set the spider down gingerly. "Well?"

She swallowed. "Umm... the ki... ing... urse..."

"Nn." He looked down at the spider. "Avada Kedavra," he muttered. The spider froze, then fell, its arms curling inward. He picked it up.

Kelsi inhaled sharply.
"You- It- Dead- What-"


Robin was frozen in action of picking dirt out of her nails. She was staring at Moody with a glassy look in her eyes. There was a slight look of horror, and interest.

"Why are you doing this if they're unforgivable curses?" Libby mumbled, barely audible.

Because he's crazy, Serenity sighed in her head.

He set the spider on Ron's desk. "A souvenir..." he muttered. He turned to the class again once at the front. "..."

The bell rang in the distance.

Libby grabbed her stuff, and was the first person out of the room.

Serenity went out of the classroom, smiling slightly in spite of her terrible mood. She went down the stairs and disappeared quickly.

Ron twitched slightly and knocked the dead spider off of his desk. "I hate spiders..." he mumbled, joining Cara and Harry in leaving.

Liv left as well, seeming pretty unphased. She was trying yet again to balance her wand on her nose.

Kelsi stayed there for a quick moment before sweeping her bag over her shoulder and running out of the classroom.


Robin was gone in a blink.

[uh, dinner when the others arrive?]

Kelsi decided, instead of hunting Libby down, went to class. Because, Libby wouldn't miss class, so she'll just ask her before class starts.

Amanda hurried in and plopped down in the middle row. She began to doodle while waiting for class to start ^^

Livi walked in and sat in the desk by the wall. She headdesked.

Rachel came walking skipping in happily. She was obviously pleased and happy right now, with not a care to bring her down from her cloud of joy. <3

Libby came in, and sat down with Kelsi.

Kelsi stared at Libby.
"Max was at the table. Why? IS THERE SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW?"

"Because..." Libby said, lowered her voice to a whisper, and told Kelsi what had happened.

"OH MY GOD YOU AND MAX KISSED!" she screamed through the class.

Rachel was still on the amazing Cloud of Joy. Apparently, nothing was going to bring her down today. Not Robin, not the physco Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher... nothing.

Liv started tapping her desk and humming Candypop quietly.

Libby turned red and hit her head on her desk. Repeatedly.

Kelsi laughed madly, and kicked her legs up onto her desk.
"Holy crap, that's... Hahaha-hehehe!" she was laughing, and leaned too far back in her chair. It tipped over, but she made it up in time.
"That's awesomeness! LIBBY, that means you and him are boyfriend/girlfriend!" Kelsi started laughing harder.


Robin entered and sat far from Rachel.

"Wa-o-o-ou..." she sang quietly, stopping tapping.
