Potions Class

Amanda started to doodle now ^^

"I got an E," Libby told Rachel.

Kelsi stared at Libby.
"I just didn't get this bone-root marrow potion test thing."

"Lucky," grumbled Rachel looking down at hers.


"All right class, settle down!" said Professor Snape. "I have passed back your tests, as you can see. I hope that some of you can improve next time. Or, there will be consequences..." he leered at the people who got lower grades in particular.

Kelsi sunk in her seat. She was like, terrible. Why doesn't she bother studying? It's like a stereotype of this crap, even if she can't really help save Potions for last, and end up not having time for it each night. But, there was no warning of this test. Why doesn't he warn them?!

Amanda sat straight up and stopped the doodles

"Anyway, the dunces who get D's in this class better improve, and soon. Your OWL test is next year, and I only accept the ones who get O's in my NEWT class... anyway, let us begin the the lesson on antidotes..."

"Okay... yay... antidotes..." Kelsi took out parchment and began to take notes.

"Your directions," he flicked his wand towards the blackboard, and the directions appeared. "And everything you need is in the supply closest. And be forewarned, I will be testing your antidote on one of you, so be prepared..." he eyed Harry.

Harry looked right back at him.

Libby wrote down the instructions on her parchment, got the ingredients from the supply closet, came back to her desk, and began to work.

"All right, you have a hour and a half, begin!"

Rachel got up with a sigh, and went to the supply closest. She didn't know how her mom does, making Potions all the time and such. It was such dull work!

Amanda got the ingrediants and followed the instructions.

Rachel boredly began to slice up roots of a dandelion. She knew her slices of the roots were uneven and such, but right now she didn't really care.

Amanda got out a ruler ^^

She alined the dandelion with it. Chop, chop chop. This was the class she was afraid to fail >>

Then, Professor Snape proceeded to sweep around the room, criticizing people.

"Miss Potter chop those roots more evenly."
"Mr Silva, can you NOT stew those slugs so poorly? They're a mess."
"Draco, good job. You're doing everything so far perfectly."

Max cursed under his breath, and turned to glare at Draco, who was of course, gloating.

When Snape wasn't lookng, Amanda threw a slug thing at Draco.

She continued her chopping.

Draco noticed the slug being thrown at him, so he just picked it up and threw it at Harry, and he grinned in a Draco Malfoy-y fashion.

Amanda made a face. Amanda turned on the flames so she could mix her dandelion and some nice purple slugs ^^

(POWERPLAYING AMANDA.)

Rachel than stewed her purple slugs in her cauldron, rather boredly. She despised Potions.

Nicolas picked up his knife, and for some reason, felt weird... like the knife gave him some power. He shrugged, and began chopping up his roots like a good little Kira disguised as a shota. :D

Libby was following instructions, determined to get a good grade in Potions. She stewed her slugs in her cauldron.

Amanda read the dirrections out loud: "Five dried feathers?" She shrugged and dumped five in. She began to stir count clock-wise.
