Serenity grinned.

"So my friends know what to buy me for my birthday. Actually, Rach and Livvie are already catching on, but.. Still! Plus, it's not very fun unless I get the esteemed title of girlfriend. I mean really, who else is going to get you a necklace that says my sweetheart?" [Plot joke.] "Not that I would ever, necklaces look so tacky on boys. However, swim trunks are in season, and, oh, in February, it's going to be the season for pastel springs, a season that has been unused since.. When was it? 1993. Light pinks, white, of course white has already been a trend by itself, but when paired with pastels, it's a different story. Light greens, light mossy greens, light yellow, sky blue.."

And this winter, dark blueish grey is really popular, but remind me, Serenity, to start wearing dark tan colors, they really stand out in the snow and compliment your colors, she thought to herself.

"I was blabbing, wasn't I? Sorry. But when I think of the exciting pallets for the next seasons, I just get so.. excited! Sorry." She looked out the window, glaring at the snow.

"Not really."

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT MY FAVORITE BOOK IS?!" Serenity suddenly brimmed over with enthusiasm.

"What?" He looked up.

"A Clockwork Orange. It's quite... bad."

Serenity giggled, eyes wide.
"Whaaaat? Angel Illumination reading a bad book? In what way, hmm?"

"It's interesting, though. In a sense, it reminds me of my brother."

Serenity erupted in a fit of laughter.
