"..." He kept reading. "It's not exactly my type of story, to be honest."

"I didn't know you liked stories, frankly. I was under the impression you read complicated mathematical problems or something."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I thought you never read fantasy.. Just weird science conundrums or something."

"It's not fantasy. But yes, of course I do."

"Oh. Quick question? What's your opinion on Fudge as P.M.?"

"As P.M.?"

"Prime Minister. Minister of Magic. Same thing, in basics."

"Actually, there's a huge difference."

"Well, Prime Minister is muggle, M.o.m. is magical. Hold on-- M.O.M?! Doesn't that sound... Sort of .. funny? Anyways- Yeah, I meant, if Fudge retired, wouldn't he be good as muggle prime minister?"

"Certainly not."

"I'm sure, there's a rule against it. But, it would sort of be wizard dominance if we had a wizard as muggle prime minister, and that wouldn't be good at all. But, we already infiltrate some formal titles with wizards, don't we? Those are mostly to weed out magical cases and take them to the courts where they can be tried properly, hide magical behaviors, and stuff.. And nobody would ever elect him. He looks like a banker."

He didn't seem to be listening.

After a while, Serenity smiled.


"I smell like oranges. My mom sent me a new shampoo with oranges in it. So I'm happy today."

"That's nice."

And she said she would send me apple tomorrow. And banana the next week. So I'm going to smell like fruit the rest of my life."

"I'm sure it won't be that long."

"She's sending me a different fruit shampoo every week, starting over each month. I hope she buys strawberry, I love strawberries.."

"Really."

"No. But I'm going to ask her to. That would be cool."

"Oh." He turned the page.

"You know what they should make?! SCENTED TANKTOPS, UNDERWEAR, BRAS, SOCKS, AND HATS! That would be so awesome! You would never have to wear deoderant! You would smell good all day! It's brilliant! I'll make so much cash! What will I call them? Smelly bras? No, that sounds weird. Scratchnsniff? EWW. NO. Umm.. Smelling Underwear? EWW. WHY DOESN'T ANYTHING NOT SOUND PERVY?! How about Fruit of the Loom? No, that's copyrighted.. Tankysmell? Eww no. Clothingsmells? No, not that.."
