Sixth year guys dorm.

"How is it?"

"... You wouldn't enjoy it."

"Do you like it, though?"

"Not really."

"Then why are you reading it?"

"Because."

"You seem mad. Do you need a hug?" Serenity grinned, making the face at him.

"No. I'm not."

"So you don't want a hug?" Serenity continued doing the face at him, evidently hyper after her nap. "I won't get Charlie to hug you, then."

"Please don't. He refuses to let go."

Serenity's face tightened up. She gave a little choke, then burst out laughing. "That's hilarious!"

"I suppose."

"By the way, you two, you and Charlie, had better be at my birthday party ok? It's this summer, I'll find out a day soon."

"If you say so."

"Are you sure you don't need a hug?"
The face was back again.

"Yes, Miss Rosensteel."

"Too bad!" Serenity hugged him anyways, still making the face.

He didn't hug back.

Serenity jumped off the bed and did a cartwheel.
"I'm hyper!" She announced, jumping on a random dude's bed.

He kept reading.

Serenity kept jumping. And she jumped, and jumped..
And fell.

He looked up for a moment, then looked back at the book.

Serenity sat down on the bed, deciding not to jump anymore.

Confessions of a Shopaholic, actually, and she stuck her nose in the pages and started reading too.
