Common Room

Libby continued making her face.

"What?"

"Nothing. "

"Hmm. Well, what time is it?"

"Uh... dunno. Five?"

Kelsi's giddy aroma evaporated.
"Two hours until detention."

"Oh. You're right." Libby reached into her bag that she had left, and pulled out half an essay. "Might as well finish this while we wait."

". . . 'u' Drew helped me finish that." Her giddy aura reformed.

Libby made her closed-mouth imhappyplz expression, and continued with her work.

And so Kelsi started on other homework, cuz the author forgot what she did in the library, due to how late it is.

Libby put her stuff in her bag, and slung it over her shoulder. "Ready?"

"Yes," Kelsi sighed and pulled her bag over her shoulder.
"I think we're meant to go into her classroom."

Amanda was streched out on the couch in the far right corner of the room. Her legs were crossed and her hands held a Sudoko puzzle book. She stared at the numbers while flipping her pencil around in her fingers.

Mathew was like, curled up against the arm of a yellow couch, crying softly into it.

Nicolas was in an armchair, working on his homework, and noticed that Matt was... not annoying him. Nicolas set his homework in the chair, stood, and crouched down beside the couch, so he was eye-to-eye with the curled-up Matt. "Hey, you're not annoying me. What's up?"

"I was at detention at Professor Umbridge's and and -" Max showed him the palm of his hand which had the still bloody markings of the message "I will not be disruptive in class again," inscribed into it.

Nicolas stared at it for a moment. "Did she like stab it in your hand or somehow got magic to do it for her?"

Matt shook his head. "No, she made me write lines, and the more I wrote, the more it started to bleed..." And, he started crying a wave of fresh tears again.

They passed the adorable moment.
". . . Nicolas has it handled." And they went up to the dorm

"Why don't you report it to another teacher? Or Dumbledore?"

"I dunno... I'll just get into even more trouble." And than, Matt threw his arms around Nicolas's neck and hugged him. XP

Nicolas gave Matt a couple of pats on the back, a little surprised by the hug. "I don't think you'll get into any more trouble. If you want, I'll go with you."

Matt shook his head. "No, it's fine, you have homework to do." he grinned. "I don't want you failing," And ran up into his dorm.

Nicolas stood back up, threw his almost-complete homework in his bag, and went up to the dorm.

Kelsi stopped on the way down the steps and blinked a few times. It was Saturday.
