Fifth Year Girls Dorm

"EEP! GET AWAY, YOU STUPID OWL!" Serenity jumped up, falling off the bed, soup spilling a little. A cat quickly jumped onto the bed, grabbing the owl with its teeth.

Masked cawed, struggling.

Two other cats leaped on the owl, and Serenity got up on the bed, pulling her cats off him, and shooing Masked out. She picked up her soup again, eating ravenously.

Masked cawed like crazy and flew out.

"AND DON'T COME BACK. I'M TEACHING MY CATS TO HUNT BIRDS."
Serenity finished her soup- and realized she had her last detention with Umbridge tonight. Scrambling, she ran out to the DADA office.

Rachel was laying down in bed, leaning her head against the wood-carved headboard. The dorm room was pretty dark, for it was pretty late at night, but beside her on the end table by her bed, she had a low light lit. She had also changed into her PJ's a pair of blue baggy sweatpants and a lime-green (and rather low at that) tanktop.

She was reading a Muggle romance novel, Gone With The End, and with a sigh, she was about to put it down. She had found it rather dull, and didn't exactly understand why she was reading.

So, she put the book a way in a drawer in the end table, got under the covers of her bed, and turned off the bed to go to sleep.

Rachel was up the next morning, brushing out her hair, and braiding it. She had no idea why she was braiding her hair today, she had the strange urge to do it. So here she was braiding it. Luckily Rachel this time woke up on the proper time, so she was able to get ready without being too early or being to late.

After her hair was all braided up, she put on some light natural makeup. She didn't have to worry about mussing it all up, because she had already changed into her uniform beforehand.

So, she slung her bag over her shoulder, and made her way downstairs to breakfast...

Rachel was upstairs, making a pitiful attempt at her homework. Which just so happened to be due the next day.

Robin was sitting there, studying on the new chapter that Professor Umbridge gave them.
"Hey, isn't there a DA meeting tonight? Or was it tomorrow?"

"I think it was tomorrow or something," shrugged Rachel. "Hey, do you have Ancient Runes?"

"Yes, I do."

[[had to check the apps on then to see her grades. XD]]

"Can you help me with these translations?"

"Umm, okay." Robin stood up and was suddenly next to Rachel.

"Thanks alot," said Rachel, trying her best to look and sound too awkward. It still felt weird that she and Robin were 'friends' now.

"Erm, Rachel? Technically this, and this mean the same, only in a past tense way, and this is the opposite of those two. So they don't have an actual meaning, but just... you put them both after different ruins."

"Oh, OK, thanks Robin..." A few minutes later, the whining began. "OOOOH ROBIN! OWLS are only like in two months now! How am I EVER going to learn all this stuff by May!?"

"Study!" Robin gasped as she waved her wand to fix the ink spill. Because Rachel had given her quite a fright.

"But I hate studying!" whined Rachel.

"Well, then you're gonna fail!"

"But I dun wanna fail!"

Robin stood up and strolled back over to Rachel.
"Okay. Look, apparently you've procrastinated enough this year to end up screwing up. No offense. But it's a given fact. So get out all your textbooks and let's get to work. Even though it's like, Ten in the night. Or whatever."

"It's actually 10:30. But fine..." And than Rachel reached into her desk drawer, and she began to pull out all her books and school supplies.

Robin had her stuff open.

"So, what I usually do for studying for the other exams, are flash cards. But here, it's gonna be a bit hard. Since there's so much. So... let's... just... do... Um... Flash cards."

"We could quiz each other. Me and Kelsi tried to do that. But it didn't really end up working out..."

"She's never been much of a working-in-partners kind of person." Robin said simply as she began to open Rachel's textbooks.
