Serenity was sitting around, filing her nails and being innocent- well, not really innocent, she was thinking about what would happen over Christmas- when Selia came in, looking determined.
"What, twerp?"
"Make me pretty."
"Whaaaat?"
"You heard me. I'm sick of being the mousy one everyone's always prettier than. Make me pretty- no, gorgeous. Something even Karin can't top."
Serenity's eyes lit up, and she brought Selia down into her trunk, their voices hereby muffled.

"Alright, first the hair."
"Umm.."
"You said you wanted to be pretty."
"Fine."

Steam rose out of the open trunk- the curlers touching Selia's hair.

Serenity led Selia out, grinning.
"Selia, I'm proud to call you my sister."
Selia looked in the mirror, blinking. She had expected Serenity to load her with makeup, but, on the contrary- this looked really nice and light. Plus, Selia looked- and she hated to admit it- really pretty blonde. Serenity had dressed her in white pants and a blue and silver polka dot tube top- along with white open toed heels.

Selia spun around in the mirror, not knowing what to say to her sister. "Don't say anything, I know you love it," Serenity said, then shooed her sister out.

Serenity was asleep face-down on her bed. She had walked back, with minor incidents, but was now just totally out.

Rachel was still awake, staring at the wall.

Rachel was sitting up on her bed, playing a simple song on her guitar. She hadn't been practicing for a while because of all the stress with OWLs and grades, and tonight, she decided that she will have a distraction from all of that.

Serenity sat up, blinking. "What are you playing?"

"Umm, nothing in particular, really. I'm just starting with some chords, for a warm up. That's all,"

"It sounds really nice."

"Oh, well thanks!" said Rachel, who's pride swelling up quite a bit.

Serenity smiled, leaning back on the pillows and listening to the music. It was so peaceful here..

Rachel was back in the dorm room, unpacking, extremely happy that she was back HOME at Hogwarts. Christmas this year was a bit of dud, with Karin being a grouch, Dad not feeling so well, and Mom worrying about Dad. Next Christmas, she was, for sure, going to stay here at Hogwarts.

Masked was sleeping on Serenity's bed.

Rachel laid down upon the bed, and closed her eyes. She'd unpack later. She had the rest of the school year to unpack. But right now, she was really tired.

And hungry.

With her stomach growling, Rachel got up from the bed with a sigh, and headed down towards the Great Hall. It was hard to sleep with an empty stomach, anyway...

Serenity sat on her bed, watching her cats fight for the food, and eating her giant bowl of potato soup, occasionally dipping bread in.

Masked pecked her butt, seeing as he was sleeping on her bed.
