Fifth Year Girls Dorm

Rachel took one last look at her homework, and with a huff of an annoyance, she slammed the textbook closed, and pushed all her homework out of the way on her desk. Homework could wait till later. Besides, the stuff that was assigned tonight was going to be due in a few days. So, she had plenty of time.

She changed into her pajamas, and than, she climbed into bed and was asleep a few minutes later.

"Who cares? If anyone, I think he was snogging you, Lau." Serenity, still on the defensive from last year, looked like she was about to stab Laura with a quill if she came any closer.

"What-- I don't care." Laura was sitting on her friends bed now, her back facing Serenity.

"Why are you even heeeere? To spread rumors that aren't true? Leave. Preferably before I have to go get someone to evict you." Serenity jumped up, grabbing all her stuff and swiftly stuffing it in her sack, then stormed off and slammed the door.

Rachel ran upstairs into the dorm, pulled out a book on Charms, that piece of parchment, quill, ink. Basically all her supplies. She wrote her name and the title of the essay on the piece of parchment. She than began to stare at it, trying to think of what to write.

A few minutes later, she was sobbing.

Robin entered with her book in her hand and stared at Rachel.
"Is it really that hard?" She asked sympathetically.

She made her way over to Rachel and opened the book.
"Oh, this? Rachel, we went over it in class. Weren't you paying attention? Here, let me show you." She turned to a certain page and read out the four examples of uses.
"It's in note form, but you only have to stretch them out and add description."

Rachel stared at her for a long time, and than finally, for the first time in a VERY long time, she threw her arms around Robin's neck, and gave her a big hug.

"Rachel!" Robin exclaimed.
"I'm only helping you because- because- well, I don't know." And so Robin hugged back.

And Rachel began crying even harder. "I'm so sorry... for everything... it was all my fault!"

"Are you kidding? I was being an ass back!" Robin cried out.

"It was just all a waste of time- everything- I hated it all, it was all just ridiculous!"

"No, I was! I was just being the selfish bitch I was!"

"Forget it! We were both being stupid retards, and we need to make up! I don't know what came up with me!" Robin cried.
"Just, everybody kept blaming me, and I never had any actual friends- and, well, it got to my head."

"I can be your friend..." said Rachel quietly.

"R-Really? Oh- Rachel- Look, I'm so sorry," Robin cried out.

"You did nothing. It was my fault."

"But you were right, I WAS being a- well, a slut! Just to impress some stupid boy!"

"Well, it's all over now, I guess,"

Robin nodded.
"Yes, it's all gone. So, do you still need help?"

"No, I got it, but thanks,"

"Okay," Robin said uncertainly.

Serenity forced Selia into a chair, grinning, and wrapped a towel around her. Bringing out some scissors and other hair supplies, that, to Selia, looked like torture devices- i.e, a thinning brush, three different combs, two curlers, one thick, one super thin, three straighteners- one super thick, another with revolving plates, the third super thin, cans and cans of hair dye, disposable bowls and highlight combs, a dryer, a color dryer, foil for coloring and highlights, and a spraybottle filled with water- Serenity started on Selia's hair, snipping here and there, brushing out the bangs, wetting the hair in spots, and giving it a nice trim.

Rachel looked up from her homework for a minute to look at Serenity's work. Luckily, her own homework pile, thanks to Robin had shrunk considerably.

"Geez Serenity, are you sure Selia's going to be... alright after this?"

Masked was as the window, visiously pecking at it for it was closed.

Selia screamed. "HELP ME!"

Serenity ignored her, continuing with the hair. "Of course she'll be alright!"
