Clocktower Courtyard

Amanda appeared, in need of the sun. She smiled slightly as the bright rays of light hit her face. Spotting a little stone bench next to a fountain, she sat on it. The fountain was in the middle of a circular formation of gray bricks and stone benches. Grabbing one of her older, large textbooks, she rested it on her knee and pulled out her started essay on the Bubble Head Charm's uses. Then, she set her essay on the old book. Grabbing her bottle of in and quill, she continued it.

Amanda finished with her homework, was streched out on the bench from earlier. Her eyes were closed and she had a small smile on her face. She had one of her legs slightly up and pointy adnand the other one was down. Her arms went back and forth, skimming the ground. She was enjoying the here and the quiet. Amanda decided she'd claim this as her regular spot for the year.

Tanner was strolling by. He spotted her, and ran over.
"AMANDA. FORGIVE ME. I'M SO SORRY." He fell to his knees.
"That girl- she gave me something- I dunno, I'm sorry, please believe me!"

Amanda, her eyes still closed, hit him over the head with the palm of her hand as if he was an alarm clock. "Don't really care."

The moment she hit him, he fell to the dust.
"NO."

"Tanner, leave with your dignity."

". . .NO. I'M A WRECK. Please."

"Eh, move to the right, you're blocking the sun."

He didn't move. Simply standing up and staring in her eyes, he sighed.
"Alright, I lied. I lied, because I loved you, and didn't want anybody else to steal you. Yes, it was all fake. But it doesn't matter- because I can wait- I know one day you'll realize I'm not a mindless robot, that cheats on those, because you DO mean to me, AND I WILL WAIT." He puffed out his chest and left.

"YA DO THAT!" Amanda yelled. And thinking about what she said she added on, "AND YOU'LL ALWAYS BE AN ANDROID!"

Amanda closed her eyes again and her shoulders sho a little. For she was lieing down, the single tear went down the side of her face into her hair. With a shaky voice she began singing Shattered Glass and stopped when she came to the part saying, "You gonna want me back, when your falls apart, like shattered glass!" A few more tears slipped down her face, but she streched out gain and continued relaxing.

Random Second First Year #2 was sitting on a bench, giggling at the pathetic scene going on in front of her.

Amanda heard this giggling. "If you run now, no one gets hurt."

Random First Year #2 continued her giggling.

Amanda flicked her wand in aim of the Second Year's face. Amanda sighed and simply said, "Aguamenti." A jet of water bursted int othe random kid's face.

"Bitch!" Random First Year #2 yelled. She then eyerolled. "I wasn't even laughing at you, I was laughing at that guy!"

Amanda shrugged, which really looked like she was just schooching up on the bench. "Like it really matters who you were laughing at. It's not polite to laugh at other's personal affairs kid. Go off and gossip or something."

"Like you haven't laughed at other people before."

Amanda turned her head at the kid. "Not in front of them. Consider the water in your face a lesson well learned."

"Oh wow, water in my face. Yeah, some liquid is really going to teach me a lesson. I don't need some giant preaching to me about manners and behavior, I have my parents for that." Brushing her wet bangs out of her face, Random First Year #2 went off to find Random First Year #1.

Amanda pulled a pair of huge sunglasses out of her bag. She a content sigh, she put them on her face. They had black lens and purle rims with black zebra stripes.

Random First Year #1 appeared. "What's going on?" she asked, to Random First Year #2.

Random First Year #2 crossed her arms. "Long story. But I was giggling at some guy, she shot me with a jet of water and started saying how I need to be polite and stuff and said the water in my face was 'a lesson well learned'."

"Ah my lord! Frekin little first years! Were we this bad?" Mumbled Amanda.

"Well, she must still be feeling rather sensitive towards this guy..." said Random First Year #1, with a cat like smile on her face.
