Transfiguration

Clyde retreated back to his desk. "Okay..."

"Thanks, though."

Clyde was silent.

"..." Kelsi really hoped she didn't hurt his feelings. Even though he creeped her out.

Kelsi was able to change it completely into a pin cussion, except for some of the pines were still moving, and it still had a nose. But, it was still amazing proggress in one class. She felt herself booming with self-esteem. Because, it was a pretty hard spell.

Kelsi was in her transfiguration double period. The teacher was explaining the basics of a complicated transfiguration spell where you perform changes on a mole's nerves and systems. Today, they were learning how to make the mole be able to see in bright light, and change the way its digestive system works.
"The incantation is divertifio cotract sistema!" Professor McGonagall said as she pointed her wand to a mole, whose eyes opened up, and became not as black. "You may not see it, but inside, the mole has changed too. This spell takes a lot of practice, and I suspect that you stay with the eyes for now, until you master those before moving on to the inner systems."

A student raised his hand. "Eye's aren't a system."

"They're part of a system, though. And although this spell doesn't work on full systems, you can still change separate parts. Well, aren't you writing this down? Also write the notes on the board. Quickly!"

After a bunch of practicing the spell, and failing to do so, Kelsi managed to at the very least enlarge the mole's eyes. For homework, she was to practice the spell, and was given a few questions.
