Owlery????

Serenity rolled her eyes and sat back down, steaming- dreams of glamorous things gone.

Clyde walked in to send a letter at that moment.

Serenity frowned at him, twiddling her fingers.

Awkwardly he tied a letter to a school owl and ran off.

She turned to Rachel and Kelsi. "What are you all being for Halloween? I'm being a 50's girl- putting up my hair and everything.

Serenity rolled her eyes and left.

"Fuck you, Serenity..." Kelsi mumbled, and turned to stare through the window again.

A rather beaten-looking owl landed on a perch, wobbling a little bit. It looked directly at Rachel and hooted.

Kelsi completely annoyed, had stayed up there because she had no head, just as the owl came back. It had actually been over thirty minutes.

Kelsi decided to send the owl straight back. Yay.

The owl came back in record time because we all ignore the time it actually takes to get from place-to-place.

She threw the owl through the window.

The disheveled owl blinked slowly and looked around. Then, it flew away.

The same owl returned to the place it was before, blinking wearily. After flying for a few hours, it had failed to find Ravenclaw tower. So, tired as it was, it closed its eyes.

Serenity went up into the owlery, checking for that owl one more time before she went to bed. She saw the owl and screamed loudly, causing the other owls to flutter and move away.

The poor owl got tackled immediately- lightly, but still a tackle- "Can I have that letter?"

The owl, unable to discern hair colors from being so tired, raised its foot with the letter tied to it. It was addressed to Rachel.

Rachel took the letter. "Mmm... who's it from?"

"SCREW YOU! I'M NOT RACHEL! I'M REDHEADED! YOU F****** BIRD!" She kicked it's stand and glared at Rachel. "DARN YOU SCRUFFY OWLS! YOU ALL LOOK THE SAAAAAME!"

"Hey!" yelled Rachel swatting Serenity. "Leave the poor bird alone!"

The owl screeched and flew away, dropping the letter on the floor.

"I'm expecting a letter from Chuuuuuuck!"

"Well, learn to be patient already!" she snarled and she tore open her letter.

"Rachel M." was poorly scrawled on the outside. The envelope itself looked like it had been stuffed in a drawer and dragged across the dirt.

"I missss himmmm!" She wailed.
