Olivia was staring at the fruitcake intently.

"Eat it if you want. I hate fruitcake."

Libby came down about ten minutes after Amanda got down, and sat down with them. "Hey."

"Hola, Lib!"

"I love fruitcake." Olivia ignored Libby.

"If Lib wants some you're going to have to split it... Do you want some, Lib?"

She looked up at Libby. "... Pink hair chick."

"Nah, I'm not a fan of fruitcake. And, my hair isn't pink."

"All your's Liv..."

"Wasn't it?"

"Well, it used to be. And green. But that was a stupid angsty teen move."

"But it was cooooool."

"Really? I thought it was immature."

"It was bold, and all your own."

"It was stupid."

"Well whatev ^_^!"

"It was cool."

"No, it wasn't! It made me seem like some angsty punk wannabe or something.

"No, it made you look like a comic book character and it was cool." Olivia tore the cellophane off of the fruitcake and broke off a corner.

"Exactly why I stopped. I'm no cartoon character."

"You never know." Olivia looked at the fire, sighed, and ate the chunk of fruitcake. "Maybe we really ARE just some little characters with no control of our lives..."

[oh the irony]

"I doubt it. That'd just be weird."

[on purpose.]

"You never know. This is nasty." She handed the fruitcake back to Amanda.

"Well, I seriously doubt it. It'd just... I dunno. That's just weird to imagine."

"Yeah."
