Train Compartment Uno 8D

Amanda sat down, alone and quietly. "Ah, not a single train ride with no fight."

Amanda closed her eyes, boring herself to sleep.

Libby threw the compartment door open, which made a loud noise. "I'm following you," she stated simply, sitting across from Amanda.

Amanda woke up. "What happened in there?"

"Serenity hexed that Slytherin girl. I forget her name. She never talks to me."

"Olivia. .. How did it even start? I just remember you guys said for her to back off a bit, then Liv said something, Sere called her homo-sexual, and I left."

"I don't know. I wasn't paying attention. They weren't paying attention to me anyways."

"Can I stay in here? Please?" That was Serenity, who had slid open the door. A little blood was on her face, but otherwise she was fine.

"Lib, I'm sorry you're always in the background so much."
Amanda was ignoring Serenity.

"Whatever. I'm a Hufflepuff, I guess that's our job." Libby folded her hands behind her back, leaning against the seat.

"No-no-no! That's not our job! Hufflepuff's are the glue! We're the closest thing to sane in the school!"

"... Alright, I guess you're all mad at me too."

Amanda turned to Serenity. "Not mad, flabbergasted that you let it go that far. If either of you could had keepen a cool head, we wouldn't be here." And then back to Lib.

Libby grinned widely, cocking her head to the side, and said in a creepy, silent voice, "Why Mandy, I'm not sane..."

"... Closer to sane then some of the kids in our school."

"Well, I'm sorry, but she can't go five minutes without calling me a slut or a whore and I'm quite sick of it!" Serenity plopped down on a seat anyways, putting her trunk down and just staying silent.

"People do that when you say their best friend's life career choice is a bad one." And back to Lib. "Lib, do not go all slasher on me."

"Slasher? Is that some kind of American slang?"

Amanda nodded. "I think it's a horror movie term for someone with a creepy killer smile."

"I'm just trying to do what's best for you. All I know about authors is they don't make a lot of money if their book tanks."

"But yeah Lib, I think it is."

"Oh. I don't know anything about American slang. But I wanna go there one day. On a trip or something. It'd be fun!"

Amanda nodded. "I'd come! I'd go to New York, then Tex-az. I heard Tex-az has a lot of big stuff out of little stuff!"

"I've never heard of... Texaz. I wanna go to this place called Florida. I hear they have pretty beaches!"
