Train Compartment #13

Laura walked into it, wearing her cloak tightly wrapped arround herself. Her face was puckered and sour.

Robin entered too.

Libby, figuring that she needed to branch out and spend more time with Robin, entered behind her. Her wavy elbow-length red hair was pulled into a messy side-ponytail. "Hey Robin," she said. She didn't know who this other girl was, so she simply nodded and smiled at her.

"Oh, hey Libby! Your hair grew since second year," she said with a laugh.

Libby smiled. "Yeah. Yours did, too."

Hers was pretty long.
"Oh, well, yeah..." She was silent for a bit. She never really knew how to make conversation.

Libby wasn't entirely sure either, so she played it safe and went with a generic end-of-the-school-year discussion. "So, you excited for summer? Maybe we could hang out at some point. We never really hang out."

Laura looked up, her puckered face gone. Her eyes were wide as she nodded slowly at the two, as if a silent hello. She slowy turned her head to the window.

Holy crap people!

"No, we don't. I'd really like to, though."

Laura stared at the window, wondering if she should move.

"Then we'll meet up tomorrow."

"Oh, that soon? Really? Well, sure!"

"Awesome! And, why not that soon?"

"I didn't expect it that soon."

"You're right... that is a little too soon. Maybe next week?"

"Nah, the day after tomorrow. Like that we're settled in."

"Okay. That works."

"Man... It's getting dark."

"That means we're getting close!" Libby clapped excitedly, bouncing on her seat.

Robin nodded wildly. "Yeah, I hope it hurries up, I really wanna get home."

"This year really went by fast."

"A bit too fast. But I didn't really like it. Umbridge pissed me off."

"Considering the trend of Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers, we won't have her next year. Thank God."

"I heard she got trampled by a herd of centaurs."

"Really? That's too weird. I don't believe it."
