"That's typical from people like HER," she said, agreeing.

"Yeah. And she ditched me to go hang out with the guys. While I was talking to her! She even ran off before I could properly say good-bye or anything."

Re: A Dark Corridor
"Oh my gosh, that's SO rude!" she said. "She then slipped herself away from Antonio for a moment, and walked up to Holly. "Holly, you really should hang out with us more. You're too good for those other people."

Re: A Dark Corridor
"Yeah! I should!" Holly crossed her arms and stood a bit straighter. "I don't need them! They're all idiots! Well, except for Eric, but all he really does is stand in the background while everyone else is being idiotic."

"Eric's nice, but..." Karin suddenly looked sympathetic. "I think all those years of abuse must have touched his brain. He isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed."

Re: A Dark Corridor
Holly shrugged. "He's really sweet though. I mean, he's a nice friend... but he hangs out with them. He really must not be the sharpest tool in the shed if he does."

Re: A Dark Corridor
Eric was just passing this hallway (considering it's dark, it must be in the lower level) on his way to Hufflepuff. He just stared at them. "... My bad." he mumbled, staring specially at Holly, and kept walking. He was gone by the end of the hallway- into the common room. What was she doing with them?! So what if Fry dumped her, he did it for special reasons! He thought she was his FRIEND. And there she goes, talking behind his back- not the sharpest?! She knows he has dyslexia! He sat down in a chair and stared at the fire.

Re: A Dark Corridor
Karin had suddenly felt bad for what she had said-those things WERE pretty hurtful.
"Wait, Eric!" she called.

Re: A Dark Corridor
"Wait! Eric!" Holly called after him. But he was already gone. She felt the pit of her stomach sink from just the look he'd given her. He'd seemed so helpless, like he'd been stabbed in the back fifty times--which was a rough metaphor of what Holly was doing. "Eriiic! Shit..." Holly leaned against the wall and glared at the floor, scowling. This wasn't good.
