Small Home in Japanese Seclusion

"I used to love that kind of stuff! I still do, actually, but.. I had the little cheap chopsticks in my hair, and I would go around bowing to people. I bet it was hilarious to see.."

"Aww, that would be so cute."

"Shut up. What did you do when you were little that's potentially embarrassing?"

"I ran around the house buck naked except for my mom's oven mittens on my feet and hands. I also did this outside when there were parades around holidays."

Selia burst out laughing. And it didn't seem like she would stop any time soon. She started hacking, coughing horribly, then as soon as it passed, she laughed again.

Jake just kind of sat there. He found it really embarrassing, but she did ask, so.

"Ah, I'm sorry, Jake. Do you think, maybe, I could go try on the kimono now..?" She seemed sort of excited, in a slightly restrained way.

Jake blinked a few times, processing it. "Yeah! Sure! Let me go get my mom."

"Great!" Selia said, grinning widely. She went inside, looking extremely excited.

The mom took her into a back room. She dressed her up like a doll and stuff.

"OOOH, YOU BIG BOOBS!"

"W-what?!" Selia said, looking at the mother in disbelief. But.. It was Jake's family. What was she expecting?

"This will fit perfectly." She acted like she said nothing out of the ordinary. She tied the bow and yeah.

Selia sighed to herself and got out of the room as quickly as she could. Out of the video-recording grandfather, the occasionally odd grandfather, and this woman, Jake's mother had actually scared her the most. But, she got out safely, and then stared in the mirror, looking stunned. "Wow... I really do like this."

Selia wandered around, looking for Jake, while still in her decked out kimono. She felt much less out-of-place in the Japanese house when she had the clothes on.
"Jaaaaaake?"

He had gone to nap.

Selia sighed and went to sit down, sitting idly. She really had nothing else to do.

Jake was totally asleep in his room. He had forgotten to wait for Selia.

Selia wandered around the house, going in circles for a few minutes, before her impatient traits got the best of her and she banged on Jake's door. "Open up, or I'll come in and pour boiling water on you!" She really didn't have any boiling water, though.

Silence. Jake was totally asleep, and in fact, he wasn't in his room. He fell asleep on his porch outside, head and hands hanging over the railing. A trail of drool was hanging from his mouth, ready to fall into the small pond below him.

Selia stomped back to the kitchen, presumably to start boiling water, then saw something on the porch. She grinned, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, then snuck out onto the porch..
And kicked Jake into the water.

Clearly she'd have had to do a roundhouse kick in the ass for him to fly over the railing and down a metre into the pond, but okay.

And so he fell, and there was a splash, a yell, and Jake sat up completely disgruntled with his black hair all wet and falling over his eyes. Water dropped from his nose and lips and chin and he coughed and spluttered.

She's Chuck Norris.

Selia leaned over the railing, then waved at him. "Good morning! Have a nice bath?"

HELLYEAH.

Jake looked up. He grinned and fell back into the water, where it went up to his nose. He sat back up, shocked, and began rubbing his nose with his hands because water got into it. "Yeah, the water is really fresh! Kind of warm for my taste, but that might be because the animals around here tend to dump in here."
