Small Home in Japanese Seclusion

"That's so cool! I never knew that existed! In that case, no, I don't."

"Oh, then, cool." Selia said, putting it away. "My hair is horrible, it takes forever to brush and straighten.."

"You shouldn't touch it! Just let it be! I want to see your hair natural."

"You mean you want to see an afro? Okay, I'll keep it the way it is tomorrow." She promised.

"Really?! An afro?! I WANT TO SEE THIS!" Jake looked amazed. "Selia, you're the first French person I've seen to have an afro!"

Selia burst out laughing. "I was joking! But, it's going to be messy, I'll tell you that."

"WHAT?! Aww, I'm so disappointed now..."

"I'm sorry, I've never had an afro a day in my life."

"Well, you are part Veela, right?"

"Um, yeah, I am. So what does this have to do with afros..?"

"I don't know, Veela's are scarilly beautiful, but I suppose part-Veela's are more of a natural beauty... You know- you wouln't expect an afro from them."

"Even if I was a full Veela, I wouldn't be having an afro."

"Yeah." Jake said with a nod.

"Jake, do you think I'll ever end up with a boyfriend as great as Antonio was? I mean, he was really nice before everything happened.."

Jake didn't say anything. "Was he really?"

Selia nodded. "Yeah, he was. We were great friends, you know. He made poems about me, they were so sweet. Then, we went to this lake by his house, and it was so fun!"

"You've told me before," Jake said with a feeble smile. "Why do you want somebody like him? Didn't he already hurt you?"

Selia shrugged. "I want somebody like him before he went rotten." She thought over it. "You know, even at the beginning, he was rather rotten. But, he was still pretty kind!" She said.

"Hmm." Jake didn't know what else to say.

Selia just sat there, and sighed. "Hey, Jake, you're a pretty good person, you know. Listening to me like this. I must be boring you."

"Nope! Not at all! You get me thinking so much my brain starts hurting."

[[I can do it for a while, but I won't be on all that much. I'M IN GOOD HANDS, THOUGH. Or, rather, my characters are..]

"Oh, then, thanks, I suppose. It's nice to talk to you." Selia said, smiling.

"Thanks! Hey, it'll be nice to be back with everyone after this. Despite Hogwarts being a hell-hole."

"It's nice being here, though. Aren't I fun enough?"

"Yeah. You are." Jake nodded.

"Well then be happy!" Selia said, laughing.

"So... do you think I could buy a kimono..? I always liked them, and I brought some money."

Jake grinned. "Really?! A kimono on you? That... that would be cool! I could ask my mom if she has any old ones, they might be a bit too big for you. But the old-fashioned kimonos are always the best. It would be awesome for the new year, here, too!"

"I'd love that!" Selia said. "I got one from Disney, in Paris, and it fell apart.. I was so disappointed. Although, I was seven."

"From DISNEY? Wow, obviously it's going to fall apart, those aren't real ones, I bet."
