"You have? Well, then, you got your wish. I've always wanted to ride around in a carriage like a princess, since we're sharing wishes."

Jake nodded slowly. "That's a strange wish."

"Not really.. Well, it's not for a girl. Mm, these brownies are good. I don't usually try them." Selia said, eating another one and leaning against the counter.

"If I cooked I'd save half the batter for me and the other half for the oven. Then once it comes out of the oven I'll take half of whatever cooked then leave that one half for everyone else."

"That would be, like, five brownies for everyone else, Jake. You just can't do it that way. You should be glad I'm the one making the brownies."

"I'd make a bigger batter, though! More for me, and more for everyone else."

"No, you couldn't do it that way, either! It has to be the right sized pan, so when you take it out, the edges aren't burnt to a crisp and the middle is perfect. Or, it could go the other way- the edges could be perfect and the middle could be undercooked. So you can't make any more or less than perfect."

"I'll do separate pans, then."

"Good.. What do you do if there's batter left in the bowl after you pour the mix into the pan?"

"Lick it, of course!"

"Excellent answer." Selia said, then leaned forward and kissed him. Her hand hit the brownie pan, and it fell off the counter, dropping, and breaking on the ground. The brownies got all over the floor. "Why do bad things happen everytime I kiss you?!" She complained.

Jake shrugged. "It must be karma coming for me for every other time I interrupted other people."

"I suppose you're right. Well, I don't mind the bad karma. I'll go get a broom, okay?" Selia said, going off and trying to find one.

Jake shook his head. "NO! Trust me- the floors here are instantly clean all the time after a footstep is set on the floor. My mom uses this formula she bought at a market, and she just has to apply it every two weeks- screw the five second rule, we can eat them right from the floor!" Jake insisted.

"They have glass in them, Jake. The pan broke! That's really, really dangerous. We need to clean these up, I'll make another batch."

"But..." Jake sighted. Clearly he didn't care about eating glass. "Oh, forget it! Let's do something else."

"Alright. Good. We could.. umm... We could pet my cat!" Selia held it up- apparently she had brought it with her.

"Nice." He pet her cat. "You know, I love cats and all, but I prefer dogs."

"Dogs slobber all over. And they try to eat brownies. Cats are cute, don't slobber, hardly bite or scratch, are nice, have personalities, aren't stupid, and can climb things. And they purr!"

Jake shrugged. "Dogs are more loyal than cats. And I'm not going to have this conversation. It's really boring."

Selia mumbled something about cats being better. "Why don't we talk about.. Oh, I sold some of Serenity's shoes online."

"Oh, you did?! Well... she might get a bit mad.. How much did you get?"

"Two hundred galleons for the lot."

"That's so much!" Cried Jake. "Well, you're going to be set, considering that's only a few pairs of shoes."

"She's such a spender. If she would just buy some normal clothes, we wouldn't be in this mess."
