Amanda's New Apartment

"....I wish I could tell you."

Olivia sighed, and brushed her bangs out of her eye. "I'll probably grow a blemish or two just from that sandwich. Disgusting."

"All of their food is pretty gross, that, or we are spoiled from Hogwarts."

"I imagine that's it." She smiled.

Amanda yawned, and slowy began to get out of bed. "Riddle me this, how exactly did you thing yelling in my ear would be a nice 'Good Morning!'?"

"How exactly did you think that..." She stopped to think of something. "That... That my hair wasn't originally this color!"

"I never did think that."

"Good, because it was."

Pinkie poked her head up from under the covers of Amanda's bed, and openly hissed at Olivia.

"She doesn't like being woken up..."

Olivia got up and backed into the wall. "O-Okay... You sleep with that thing..."

Rachel knocked on the door with one hand, and in the other, she was holding her baby. She decided, that after over a year, it was time to visit Olivia. She had figured that she was probably staying with Amanda. And, because Olivia is Olivia, Rachel knew that SHE would never come visit her.

So here she was.

"Called it!" Anything to get away from that furry beastly thing. Olivia made a bee-line for the front door, had a bit of trouble with the deadbolt, and finally got the damn thing open. "Yo."

"Hey!" said Rachel cheerfully.

After a minute of awkward silence, she spoke up again. "Can I come in?"

"I don't really own the place, can't say."

"I'll take that as a yes then!" And she stepped in. She then pulled out a little baby blanket, and she gently laid Sophia on it, who immediately sat up, and began to stare at Olivia, with her huge brown eyes.

Olivia's jaw dropped. She looked from the... miniature human, to Rachel. Back and forth for about two minutes, before she broke the silence. "Nuh-uh!"

Rachel nodded. "Uh-huh!" she couldn't help but beam though. "Isn't she beautiful though?!" she turned back to Liv, with that same smile on her face. "So, what have you been doing with YOUR life?"

Liv was too preoccupied petting the top of Sophia's head. "It's so soft..."

"Your hair could be like that!" she teased. "You just have to wash it everyday, and use baby shampoo."

"That's not fitting on a... however old I am now. Twenty?" She frowned. "Err, what day is it?"

"The 27th of August." she replied. "Your twenty? I just turned nineteen last April."

"August... wow." Her hand stopped near the soft spot on Sophia's skull. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, I am. She's my baby."

"You're kidding." She looked dumbstruck. "I... I missed my own birthday?"

"Oh... you're talking about THAT." Rachel rolled her eyes. "Olivia, you haven't changed. Missing your birthday?! And, do you even have a job?"
