Amanda sat at her desk, busily scribbling on a piece of paper, her elbow close to knocking down the large piles of highlighted notes and pieces of writing beside her. Amanda had been working extremely hard with her studies in college that year, and had been able to do very well in her English classes. The only issue, was that because she never took Arithmacy in Hogwarts, she had the math education of a sixth grader. Her second semester of college was just full of math classes she tried to catch up on, thank god she didn't want to do anything associated with math for a living.
She sighed, putting down the pencil, and slipping the piece of paper under the pile of paper. She reached for another, but a thought occurred to her. ...Wait, page 550? That means, I'm done. A grin of a six year old in a candy store spread across Amanda's face, and she grabbed the folder, holding it tightly in her arms. After checking Pinkie had fresh food and water, she apparated to her college friend's mother's publishing business.
