"That tie looks good on you." Serenity didn't let him being there stop her from taking the chair, she sat on top of him, as always. It wasn't as shocking anymore, since she usually did it whenever she didn't get her way. Thus, it was ineffective at getting her way because the shock of having someone sit on your lap is nonexistent when they sit on your lap almost every time they steal the chair. This rendered Serenity's plan ineffective, but she usually sat there anyways, rendering the plan more ineffective...

Nope, absolutely useless. Except, since they'd been dating for a while now, Elroy wrapped his arms around her waist. "Glad to have you back."

"Well, I'm quite pleased to be back here. It's nice. What did you do while I was gone, just work?"

"Pretty much." Elroy sighed. "I admit, I've really been missing the whole wizarding thing lately."

"Why? It's not like you've given it up or anything. You could still use magic."

"I know... There's just not really any call for it, you know?"

"Well, we could use it to float my diploma up onto the wall, how's that?" Serenity grinned. "Hey, how about we actually celebrate? Go visit Angel in the insane house?" Of course, she was joking.

"Sure, why not? Wonder if they've cured him yet."

"He was awfully crazy before he killed Charlie. I don't think he snapped. He was already snapped." Serenity shuddered. "I still feel guilty about all of that, you know."

"I bet it was those veela genes of yours."

"Shut up!" Serenity said, eyes huge. "Do you think it was? Then it's even more of my fault!"

"Of course it is," he said simply. "You're the one who set off the grenade."

"I-I did not! It was Charlie! He was a paying customer, after all!" Serenity was getting awfully defensive. "And, I asked him to stop it! He was raping me, and it's not fair-- it was his fault Angel went crazy."

"Really?"

"Yes really! It really had nothing to do with me at all."

"Knowing you, you could have just stabbed that heel of yours into his groin or something..."

"I didn't own any shoes at the time." Serenity sniffed. "But, thanks for the thought."

"You could've pushed him off anyhow."

"Had you met Charlie? He was like, a whole hundred pounds heavier than me. Let's just drop it. What do you want to do tonight?"

"Well, it's Friday. I've got nothing tomorrow."

"Then let's go drinking, and partying, and dancing!"

"Do you really want to, because I think you're just trying to sound edgy."

"I really, really want to! I've been wanting to since yesterday!"

"The one club that was here went bankrupt last week, sorry to say."

"Oh.." Serenity said, frowning. "Well, let's stay in and get drunk and party!"
