Potions .

"Meh..." said Rachel quietly to herself.

Max and his 'Tard friends were smirking in the back of the class.

"I said no talking. I also mean no talking back. Take out the ingredients listed on the board, you're not trolls... well, most of you are, but some aren't..." He sat at his desk.

Rachel just rolled her eyes, and began to take her supplies out from her bag. Honestly, could anyone been anymore unfair? Robin wasn't even talking in the first place...

Robin scowled, and slumped in her seat.

Kelsi narrowed her eyes, and she pulled out her ingredients, humming under her breath.

Robin's ingredients already were out in the first place.


Kelsi shifted in her seat. She hoped nothing bad happened to Lavender.

Serenity started singing the shoes song while she was working.
"SHOES.
OMG. SHOES."

Liv was slicing porcupine quills. XD

Kelsi began working, and she totally screwed up. Her potion became a nasty murky color of snot, and when she tried to mix it, it felt really thick. Nasty bubbles popped as it boiled at a low temperature. It had no odor, but it's features were gross enough.
"Er..."


Robin's potion was coming along perfectly.

She threw them in halfway done. She then started boiling them in the water along with whatever else was needed.

Serenity's potion was a nice pretty sparkly purple color.

Liv looked at Serenity's and sweatdropped. "You know chartreuse is a shade of green, right?"

"This is such a pretty color, though! I'm gonna use it to dye a scarf!" Serenity grinned like a dumb blonde.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you... how the hell are you in Ravenclaw..."

Serenity blinked, tapping her fingers. "I'm smart."

"Well, you probably know that your potion would disintegrate the fabric if you tried to use it for dye, then?"

"Not if it was weaved from unicorn tail hair. Unicorn hair is nearly indestructible."

"And who shaves unicorns? It's illegal, except for wand making, where they wait for them to drop out."

"Domestic Unicorn tail cutting was made legal in 1899 under the condition that the unicorns were raised on the farm. Besides, tail hair grows back. There are three unicorn tail hair farms on the earth. Unfortunately, the hair is really rough, it has to be smoothed out by hand, which makes it expensive."

"It was made illegal in 1956 after two of those three went out of business due to illegal puncturing of the unicorns for their blood."

"Yes but in 1959 they brought it back under new rules and conditions. The unicorn's tail had to be cut in the wild under ministry supervision with regulated non-disease-spreading scissors. However, only females are able to cut unicorn tails because in the wild and not bred properly, unicorns don't like males very much. This was put in another section of laws, treatment of magical creatures in the wild, instead of breeding and use of magical creatures."

Kelsi rolled her eyes, and sat down. She pulled out her notepad and began doodling.

"How much time did you spend with Ichi-chan over the summer?"

"What do you mean by that? Maybe I'm smarter than I let on!"

Kelsi groaned.
"Will both of you shut up? You're bickering like some old couple!" Kelsi snapped at them, as she looked over from her notepad.

"I'm not a lesbo, stupid Hufflepuff." Liv's potion turned lime green. "MEH!"
