Train compartment.

Carmen and Andrea were in there, chattering their heads off.

"...and then, the dude comes up to me, and goes all, HEY LITTLE GIRL... WANNA RIDE HOME?! And I just socked him in the guts and ran off screaming." Carmen finished.

"...Wow..."

There a knock on the compartment door.

Carmen looked up at the door, then back to Andrea with a look of... well, yeah. Weirdish look. Like when Sarah was bouncing a 'leek' in the mirror.
"Should we open it?"

But Andrea didn't see that. She was already at the door, opening it a peek.

And outside the compartment, was Lyn, with her trunk beside her. She was obviously getting lonely in that compartment by herself, so she decided to work up some bravery, and come find some other girls to sit with.

"Err, hi," she said a little quietly. "Do you mind if I sit with you guys?"

Carmen looked thoughtful for a moment. She rubbed her index finger and thumb against her chin, and looked up, as if searching reference.
"Hmm... only if you-"
Andrea cut her off. She bobbed her head up and down, and scooted over to leave some space for this newcomer.
"Of course you can! Our compartment is open for all sorts!"

Lyn seem relieved, and pleased. "Thank you," she than dragged in her trunk, and kicked it under the seat. She than plopped down. "So Hogwarts- you two are first years?" she asked them.

Just then, there was another knock on the compartment door, which was already open. There stood a first-year, with dirty-blonde, waist-length hair, and deep brown eyes. She had a long nose, was short, and bore a striking resemblance towards some fourth-year...

Lyn turned around and saw her. "Oh hi, do you want to come in?" she asked. Ratherly shyly at that.

Andrea nodded.
"Yep, first years. And you?"

Carmen scooted over for this new guest.
"C'mon in!" she said cheerfully.

Kathrine dragged her trunk in, and put it up on the luggage rack. She sat down. "I'm a first year, too," she mumbled.

"Oh, we are two," Lyn smiled at her, and tried her best to be friendly. This girl seemed even shyer than she was herself.

Carmen and Andrea nodded equally.
"Wow, we've naught arrived, and yet still become friends!" Andrea said stunned.

"Yeah, anyway, I can't wait. What house do you think you guys will be sorted in?" asked Lyn, in an attempt to make a conversation. "I have no idea about me..."

A little girl that had jet black hair and pale skin, but not as pale as the Illumination's, came into the compartment shyly pushing up her glasses and pulling on her bangs. The sharp cut resembled Lily Allen, except her bangs were nearly hiding her eyes. She looked up, small face quivering slightly.
"I'm Maya," she said, sitting down nervously and biting her nails. "My brother said I couldn't sit with him, so can I sit in here?"

[[I LOVE LILY ALLEN.]]

"Oh my god, it's like, a huge group!" Andrea cheered.

Maya smiled slightly, grey eyes shining.
"So, what are all your names? My name is Maya Elddir. Don't ever get near my brother, please."
She was fairly pretty, but compared to her brother she looked like a supermodel. Maya tended to stay away from her brother, actually, after he tried to look up her skirt at age four. Polite and quiet, the exact opposite of Krad, her parents usually favored her.

"Andrea Cruise,"

"Carmen Lyoso,"

"Hi Maya, I'm Lyn, you can sit with us, if you want," Lyn was happy. Coming to find some other people to sit was a good idea after all. "And uh, so what house do you guys think you'll be sorted in?" she asked.

"I'm Kathrine Sawyer," Kathrine mumbled. "You might know my brother, Tom Nicolas? Everyone calls him Nicolas, though..."

"Nice to meet you Andrea, Carmen, Katherine, and Lyn. I wish my name sounded cool. Maya Elddir just sounds weird, along with Krad Elddir, Erutrot Elddir, and Eid Elddir. I'm sorry, I haven't heard of him." Maya folded her hands across her lap, looking interested.
[Spell her family's first names backwards. Maya's is just Ayam, nothing special.]

Carmen smiled.
"I hear Gryfindoor sorts 'brave' people, but from the personality and traits of Slytherin, I have a strong feeling that'll be my home."

Andrea shrugged.
"I didn't pay much attention to that part. But I hope I'm in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff so I'm with my sisters. It's not like I'm gonna want to talk about 'stuff' with my brother."

"Oh, hi Katherine. Just wondering, why aren't you guys sitting with your brothers or something? Are they not letting you?"

[[I noticed, Steph. and laughed.]]

Carmen shrugged.
"No siblings."

"I dunno, I met Carmen, and decided to hang with her. What about you guys?"

Carmen fiddled with her nails.

"Nicolas was saying I'm going to be a Hufflepuff or a Ravenclaw. Most likely not a Gryffindor or a Slytherin. And I don't want to sit with my brother, he's probably off sitting with his friends, I don't wanna cramp his style, if he has one."
