Clocktower

"Sure!" Amanda now was kneeling on the wall. She smiled brightly at Rachel, waiting to hear what she had to say.

"Well," Rachel slumped over the rail of clock tower, and began to throw rocks at people walking in the Coutryard again like earlier. "I don't think Nicolas likes me any more, he's been avoiding me lately, and it makes me feel bad. Like I did something."

All the brightness from Amanda's face drained. She thought of what she heard early.. "I thought earlier I heard Nicholas saying he was too much of a woman and - and thought something about you two spending a lot of time together. I didn't hear the chunk of what he thought of it though." Amanda said this feeling very uncomfortably. It was none of her business... But Rachel was her friend? Yea well you might of miss heard... I'll tell her that then! After a few moments of silence Amanda added, "I could of heard him wrong though!"

Kelsi skipped up to the clocktower on the way to the owlery, when she saw her friends.
"Oh, hey Amanda, and Rachel! How're you guys?"

"Hi Kelsi, and I feel kinda crappy now, I guess." Rachel sighed. "Maybe I WAS spending a lot of time with him, but still! I feel like I've done something wrong,"

Her hair, which was now touching her shoulders slightly, had half of it in a ponytail, so that the bottom part of her hair was down, but the top part was pulled back in a hairband. She had her too-long bangs hanging in her eyes. When she made it to her two friends, she looked up at both of them smiling cheerfully. For no reason.
"How's life?" she asked, as she stuffed her hands in her jean's pockets.

"Well, think back to the past days. What have you done that you might absently regret?" Kelsi asked.

Amanda was eager to change the topic. Even though talking about it would probably help her friend she was afraid she and other firends might interfer and the mess everything up between the two... And I couldn't see my friend like that --- But it would do her good to tell her good to try to figure out more... Yea the truth hurts though, maybe she shouldn't know... The truth is always the best turn sometimes... Yea well the truth might tear her apart... Yea but she should know what is going on! So I'll help her with whatever she needs.

Rachel thought for a moment. "Maybe correcting him so much... I guess. I can't really think of anything else, though."

"Well err... Maybe he thought that the two of you needed some space from each other?" pitched Amanda.

"I can understand that, but I think he's literally AVOIDING me. Anyway," she sighed again. "I don't really wanna talk about this anymore.

"You should give a break. He might miss the friend moments, like, he wants you guys to be boyfriend-girlfriend, but not kissing and holding hands all the time. More like, a friendship/romance. Do you get what I mean?"

Amanda began to think of a new topic.. "So how about them' champions? Who are you casting your bet on?"

With relief, Rachel was glad that Amanda had thought of an interesting topic. She wanted to try to relieve her stress. "Well, no offense to you guys, I think it's probably going to be Harry. I mean Cedric is good and all, but Harry has a strong chance too."

"Yea. In my opinion they are both equal. Harry has the expierience while Cedric has the age and more learned by his side? Krum is probably strong and dumb and Fleur might just be a pretty face."

"Cedric is older than Harry, though. And I'm beginning to think, how did Harry do it? I couldn't do it, I got stuck in the Hospital Wing- no, I never told you guys that. But, how did he do it? What if he asked an older student to do it? Would they want to do it for him? I'm not sure. But still, I'm going for Cedric."

"I doubt if Harry even put his name in the goblet in the first place. He's not an attention seeking looser like a lot of people think. i remember one time, he was my partner in Charms... he was really nice. So, I don't think he put his name in the goblet."

Amanda turned around and her hair was now in a pony tail on her chin, making her have a point beard thing. She looked exactly like the girl form of Snape. "Maybe I --- put it in ... Potter in my class? PASHA."
