Kelsi shrugged lazily and leaned against the railing that blocked them from falling into the clock, and she stared through the stained glass. The loud ticking of the clock echoed through the stairway and small space that the three of them were on, and the hands just moved past each roman numeral nonstop.
"I wonder how old the clock is..."

"It's probably as old as the school," said Rachel shrugging, looking at in great admiration. "It's amazing how they built it. It's so beautiful!"

"I bet the day the wizards and witches die out, this clock will still stand another couple centeries. It's beautiful and so well built."

"It's so admirable. I've always thought it was the pendant of the school, y'know? And, the iron designs and cravings look so much like lace. Funnily."
