Sixth year guys dorm.

"He's... a bit colorful, so to speak. And he's rather nosy."

"I take offense to that last one, Anj," said the sixth year, switching to sitting indian-style.

"You mean he's.. gay? I've never met a gay person before! Is there a convention?!" Serenity, completely clueless, turned to the friend excitedly. She really had never met anyone like that, and was quite clueless. "I wanna go to one! Are there RAINBOWS?! My sister said rainbows were the symbols of gay people."
[No offence to anyone gay. It's really fine. She's just.. Excited.]

The sixth year glared at her. "I'm not gay. I'm bi. Also, I'm guessing this is that "Miss Rosensteel" person?"

"Yes, Charles," said Angel, turning the page.

Serenity thought for a moment on that. She was processing two things.. one, that Angel had told his friends about her. Two.. "Quick question? What's a bi person? Do they have rainbows too? And, nice to meet you, Charles, I'm Serenity Rosensteel." She jumped up, holding out her hand politely.

"Call me Charlie, will ya? Anj won't. Hee's teww fermahl." He shook her hand. "Also, a bi person likes both."

"Both what? Both colors of swimsuits? Both types of underwear? Both computers, windows or mac? Because personally, I like twist swimsuits, more silky than plain underwear, windows better than mac, and Angel better than normal boys. And, he's always formal, he never calls me Serenity. At least he doesn't call you Mister Charles." She grinned, sitting back down hurriedly.

"Both sexes, actually."

"Ohhhhh! I could never like a girl more than I love you like a sister and still like Angel. Sorry, too different for me. Anyways, can you give me some advice?" Serenity crossed her legs politely, noticing she was wearing a short dress and probably shouldn't sit cross legged. "Charlie, tell the truth, Do you think this outfit is too springy, you know, and too dark for winter? Personally, it might be a bit teacherish." Serenity was indeed wearing the same outfit, hair down and curly in a side ponytail, with tall black high heels and nearly sheer socks. "I think I look too old."

"You couldn't look old if you tried, I bet. But, uh, that's not your color."

"I'll take that first one as a compliment, thank you. And, I thought it was too blah, but I didn't want to revert to wearing metallics, that season was big in fall.. Oops, sorry Angel, didn't mean to disclude you. What do you think of metallic colors in clothes? I mean, they ITCH, if the material isn't right.."

"..." Angel turned the page again.

"Anyways, Charlie, how do you feel about Carrie Underwood? I dunno, I like the sound of Taylor Swift. Do you like country?" Serenity brought out her customary bag of chocolates, starting to munch at them.

"Not really."

"You should listen to international harvester. You haven't heard country unless you've heard that song. Anyways.. Got any deep dark secrets about Angel I should know? And by should know, I mean, if you know anything you better tell me." Serenity grinned.

"He doesn't say much, actually. El told us 'bout a time that he caught hiOW!"

Angel had hit him over the head with the book. "Sh."

Serenity giggled. "Hi? What's hi? Tell tell tell tell tell! Angel, don't hit him, let him tell me, please?"

"... COW!!!!"

"Are you finished? I'd like to continue my book, please." Angel was holding the book threateningly over Charlie's head.

"Yeah yeah. ><U"

"Caught him with. Caught him with. I'm going to wonder about that for the rest of my life, Angel," Serenity said, grinning. "And, don't hit people, it's not nice." She casually scootched over to be between Charlie and Angel.

"Yes you will, Miss Rosensteel." He opened the book again.

"Yeah, it's not nice, Anj." Charlie rubbed his head.

"I'll weasel it out of someone. I know it. I know it like I know that later tonight I'm going to change into blue." Serenity got out a piece of paper and a quill, writing down a quick sentence and passing it to Charlie. "Yeah. Not nice to hit."

"Yeah, you're definitely a winter." Charlie nodded, unfolding the note. Then, Angel hit him over the head again.

"Thank you!" Serenity stood up fiercely, shaking her index finger at Angel. "Angel Illumination! You do not hit people with books! You know better than that!"

Serenity sat back down, talking to Charles animatedly.
"So anyways, Angel is soooo cute, and smart, and polite, and awesome, you have to agree, right? My friends have heard this lecture, like, eighty million times. So, I've always wondered, does he wear pajamas?"
"What's his favorite food?"
"Who does he like?"
"What's his favorite song?"
"Favorite book?"

"... uh... o_o ... Yes."
