"Yes doesn't answer all my questions. I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN YOU DON'T ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. ANSWER. NOW." Serenity had gotten out a compact mirror, making sure her hair was okay, but she had snapped it shut suddenly, glaring at Charlie.

He stared back.

Serenity stood up, grabbing her bag. "I'm leaving, see you, bye Angel." She hugged Angel, waved to Charlie, and ran down the stairs.

"Bye!" Charlie looked at Angel. "Welp, Anj, I approve."

"Hmm." Angel turned the page.

Serenity came back up, pushing Charlie off his bed again and sitting on it, wearing her new blue outfit.
"Your brother wouldn't tell me. And, you guys know I'm going to be here a lot. Charlie, you might wanna move beds to the floor whenever I open the door, K?" She crossed her arms. "No seriously, I won't be a stalker, but I've got nothing better to do during break."

"Is this Beat Up Charlie Day?" he asked.

Angel... kept... freakin'... READING.

"Yup. It's beat up all people that have the letter E at the beginning or end of their names. Which means you, Elroy, and ... You and Elroy." Serenity grinned. "Hey, tell me, do you think I should wear metallic silver new years' eve?"

"No way. Too flashy."

"But it's NEW YEARS. And I look good in silver. I'm sick of blue, I've worn it to the Yule, today... And gold is not my color, it makes my hair look dull."

"Hmm... Why not... um... white?"

"Wearing white tonight. And it makes my teeth look yellow." Serenity crossed her arms. "Listen, just let me wear it, and tell me if I look too flashy in a sequin silver dress with uberhigh heels and bracelets, OK? I really don't care if people think I'm flashy. I am."

"Yes, but I'm just saying."

Serenity leaned down to Charlie, whispering. "Yes, but the whole idea is.. Will ANGEL like it? See, I can't exactly go around wearing the same basic outfits constantly, he wouldn't ever look at me! You know, maybe I should just wear a bikini. Nah. It's too cold." Yeah. She was seriously considering wearing a bikini. Hey, they're cute!

"No, do you want to look like a whore?" he whispered back.

"Depends. If we're going swimming, I won't. And swimming is good. And, last Christmas.. Oh boy, it's a long story. But there were nosebleeds involved." Serenity sat up. "So, anyways, yeah."

"But it's the middle of winter, and the lake is frozen over, so, you would."

"Not if the teachers make an indoor pool. Besides, I would force Angel to wear swim trunks!"

"You would not." He tapped her with the book.

"OH SURE. TAP THE GIRL, HIT THE GUY."

"Oh yes I would." Serenity crossed her arms, ignoring Charlie, grinning at Angel.

Angel hit Charlie over the head again.

"OW!"

"This is almost amusing." And so, he hit him again.

Serenity giggled, but grabbed the book out of Angel's hand. "Hey, hitting isn't nice. And you're always nice."

"Give me the book, Miss Rosensteel."

"Oww..."

Serenity hugged the book close to her. "Not if you're going to hit people, Angel. Hitting is bad."

"Give me the book."

Serenity narrowed her eyes.
