"I wanna ditch school."

"Really? Why would you wanna do that?"

"I wanna go home. That's why."

"Then, well, I dunno. Maybe you can come to Italy with us. All throughout spring break, Dad's been yelling about how if things get worse, we're going to move there..."

"AND, WHY DID RYAN BREAK UP WITH ME?! Oh really? You're moving to Italy?"

"Yeah-or wait no. I really don't know. My dad is actually pretty crazy...AND WAIT- WHO IS THIS RYAN!?"

"All dads are crazy. But my mom's pretty crazy. He's some guy from my sister's wedding, on Alex's side. His brother. And we like, kissed in the winter, and he broke up with me."

"You have never met MY dad. I actually don't like him much... he was actually diagnosed with a bi-polar disorder and he yells alot and he's really scary..." she said, not really noticing what Robin said about Ryan.

"Yeah, okay, that's nice. WHY DID RYAN BREAK UP WITH ME?!"

"Because Ryan is a douche. Anyway, I wish my mom would divorce him and get married to some nice guy, but NOOO, she has to LOVE him..."

"You should love him too, Rachel. And Ryan isn't a douche, he's nice, sweet, and funny, and he has dark brown messy, spiky long hair, brown eyes, he's not too tall, nor short, just a bit scrawny, he wears... OH MY GOD RACHEL NO WAY." She screamed out.

"WAIT-WHAT!?"

"I JUST *foghorn* DESCRIBED CLYDE. I MEANT TO DESCRIBE RYAN. AAAAGH!"

"Isn't Clyde that one guy with the hair?"

"YES! I'm so ashamed of myself... You know what? I'm going to go right now, and appologize to Ryan- Oh, I caaaaaan't... I'll just work on my next OWL."

"Ah, the male species... how much I enjoy those little antelope that we, the lion huntress must go after...

[[I laughed.]]


Robin stared at Rachel.
"I'm a lion?"

Rachel than stood up on her bed rather dramatically looking, with her hands at her hips. "OF COURSE! ALL WOMEN ARE LIONS! AFTER ALL, THE FEMALES IN A LION PACK THING DO THE HUNTING! AND ALL MEN ARE PATHETIC, SCRAWNY, WEAK, WORTHLESS ANTELOPE IN WHICH WE, THE LIONS MUST HUNT DOWN TO RIP THEM UP!!"

"...IS THAT WHAT YOU DID YOU NICOLAS!? OH MY GOD! LET'S GO RIGHT NOW! Let's rip up Elroy and Nicolas. I mean, WHY did I even LIKE him?"

"Yep, that's what exactly I did. I hunted Nicolas down, and now I have him twisted around my little pinkie finger. AND I'M UP TO HUNTING DOWN ELROY!"

"WOOOO!" Robin stood up.

"OKAY LETS GO!" And Rachel ran downstairs from the dorm room towards Elroy's closest.

Rachel came running upstairs into her dorm room, and pulled out her diary, and flipped to a new page in a fury.

May 23rd, 1995

Dear Diary,

It's night now. And I just finished eating dinner. I had some pork and green beans, since I'm all burned out on chicken. Gosh, I never wanna eat it again.

Anyway, that's not the point of the entry. I'm REALLY mad at Amanda right now. I mean, why doesn't she JUST grow up already!? It's EMBARRASSING to be around her! I don't wanna hang out with people who think that acting and doing retarded things is actually FUN!

...I really don't know what to do. I DO want to continue being friends with her, but I also wanna grow up already. And, I have no idea of what to do right now. I'll sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning.

I hate class. I really do. So that's why I'm skipping, thanks to the Weasley twins. They're a godsend this year. If, of course, you believe in God. But that's another subject.
Today I'm going to recruit Rachel to my cause. She looked angry last night. Angry at Amanda? I shall harness her anger.
God, that sounded evil.
No, really, I hate Amanda. She's disgusting and vulgar, and a complete idiot. She has no idea of reality, and she should just grow up!
And if my plan works, it just might be acceptable to be friends with her again. But she's just so annoying.
Oh, note to self, order Chuck a jacket. The weather seems to be getting colder, even if it's supposed to be spring.
Next on the agenda: freezing cold water in the showers. On Mandy.
