Transfiguration

"... Oh. I was thinking how interesting it is for us to be sitting together. All of us."

"Yes, that's something. . ." Kelsi looked around.
"Oh my god, Olivia, you're right."

She nodded. "What time is it?"

"Summer time. " Libby whispered to Liv.

Kelsi checked for her watch.
"Umm. . ."

"9:12,"

She ignored Libby and wrote down the time next to the day and the event.

Amanda hovered over her messy note handwriting... What kind of job did she want? She sighed, casting a couple glances at the window.. She smiled, noticing everyone was sitting together.

Kelsi continued taking notes. She was wondering when they were actually going to do work.

Amanda shifted her eyes to see the Proffesor turned to the other side of the room. Reaching her arm over her desk Amanda poked Olivia, humming Mission Impossible.

"What?" she mouthed.

"Do YOU know what you want to be?" Amanda whispered this o-so-quietly.

"No."

"Oh... I'm not the only one?" Amanda let her shoulders go down, happy she wasn't the only one. I mean really! We're only kids..

"You're probably gonna be an auror. Or you-know-who bait."

"...Really Liv? REALLY? You-know-bait?"

"More likely an auror, though. Or you'll own a bookstore or a stationary store or something."

"Woooo the fun."

Amanda began to take down notes again, her messy handwriting appearing as scribbles on her page. Every now and then she had to cross something out and rewrite it for it was just too sloppy for even her to read.

Kelsi was seriously beginning to wonder when the actual wandwork was going to happen. Was this the concept of OWL year? Only reading books and notes? She, unlike her fellow author avatar messy-handwriting friends, her writing was actually surprisingly neat.

"Now," continued Professor McConagall. "I am going to warn you right now, since this is the year you will be taking your OWL exams, I am going to be assigning more homework than ever. It's best you stay on top of all of this."

Amanda almost fell out of her seat when she heard about more homework. Raising her hand she was curious about something important..

Kelsi sighed quietly. Even more homework? Ah, well, at least it was transfiguration.

Amanda, deciding against asking her question, put her hand down.

"You had a question, Miss Potter?"
